The HBO producer actually is black (half-black, half-Jewish).

Yeah but did you see him? He doesn't look black. And I don't think anyone would initially think he was including the police.

I am not the PP but I thought he was black immediately. I posted up-thread about him being African American.

So sad for her kids and husband. I know many well-to-do suburban moms who party like this. It is not as uncommon as one might believe. With coke or other hard drugs, sometimes it only takes once for tragedy to strike.

I guess I don't understand why she would have taken a downer while she was still out partying. Was she planning to sleep over at the dealer's house?

Maybe she needed to start coming down, so she could make her way home and take care of whatever was on the agenda for Sunday morning. Soccer game? B-day party? who knows?

BTW, why are people calling her a hooker? She was a mom/doctor who partied, did recreational drugs, and perhaps fooled around w/ guys when she did it. How does that make her a hooker? I think a lot of people on this site are really naïve if they find it so hard to believe that was this woman's life. I'm sure there are plenty of other women out there like her.

I think they were calling her a hooker because she was found topless with her panties in her purse and was hanging out with a couple of older creeps with whom, presumably, she was exchanging sex for drugs. It doesn't seem likely that she was having an affair with either one of those men...and certainly the way her body was dumped indicates that this was something more sordid than a romantic affair would be.

It makes you sick to think of her poor husband and her family. Good God this is about as tawdry and low as it gets.

Where did you get this information?

I'm pretty sure the PP pulled that "fact" out of their ass. Rich people don't exchange sex for drugs.

2nd marriage, renting their house...don't assume they were as rich as they 'appear'.

Her first husband was a plastic surgeon, why do you assume second marriage means money problems.

Why are they renting? Seems completely stupid. They have been married for 6 years, out of med school for at least 10 years, and have 3 small kids. Two successful doctors should be settled in a purchased home at that stage in life, if solely for the kids' stability.

I would expect them to be pulling in $1mn HHI combined at this point in their careers. Dermatology is one of the most competitive specialties and highly compensated. Why are you renting a middling suburban house? Something doesn't add up.

He cannot be AA, because that would make first PP's point truly as stupid as it sounds.

Kids' stability? It's very common to rent in NYC. It doesn't mean the kids are moving every six months.

Maybe they wanted time to decide what area to live in. Maybe they planned to move back to her homestate. Maybe they were waiting to build elsewhere. Who knows. Dont make assumptions.

Weren't they in Manhasset? Manhasset =/= NYC.

Only on DCUM would a 1.6 million dollar suburban house be considered "middling".

This may have already been mentioned, but did anyone catch the part where it said she was a former pageant winner?
