Looking for a second? no. Paying someone for it? hell yes |
Fixed that for you! |
How is it empowering? She shows men her naked body, but won't have sex with them. Excellent boundary there. |
So, by your logic, either there is no difference between being naked in front of members of the opposite or if a woman shows her naked body to a man then she's pretty much obligated to have sex with him. On the latter, is that a sliding scale where burqa means no sex at all, normal western clothing means some light touching, a one-piece swim suit means the guy gets to cop a feel, a bikini means he gets a BJ and full nude means he gets sex? |
Um, yeah, it is. How is it that you don't see that? The men coming in know those are the rules, she's reaffirming it in her stance and answers here, she's making money (more than a lot of us) by doing so. In my mind, as long as she's cool with it, that equals empowering and having boundaries. |
| By saying she shouldn't have boundaries, you're insinuating she would deserve rape if it happened. Just take your train of thought to the finish. See where it ends up? OP is a human, she's allowed to set boundaries over who, where, when and why anyone sees or touches her. |
It baffles anyone's (logical) mind that that's not inherently obvious, but nice point. |
Same logic that says wearing a tight sweater or short skirt is asking to me raped. |
Would you encourage your dd to do it? |
| OP here. I see there's a poster who doesn't think I have the right to set boundaries - it's that mentality that leads to the rape and killing of women. Very upsetting. You win PP! |
Most women I work with do not/ would not date the men who come in. Sorry, I don't have any advice for you. |
My sex life hasn't really changed as a result of my job. I'm tired, which gets in the way, but I think this is common for many mothers of small children! |
| OP here - thank you all for defending me against the creepy, misogynistic troll! |
Thank you! I'd say about half of the women I work with have implants - and I think it's good for business! I'm natural, myself. But I do find myself wondering about getting them done. Another reason I'm glad this job (for me) has a shelf life! |
The point is that she's selling her self/body for money which really makes her no better than a hooker. It's all a part of the same industry:sex. And stop the madness. There is nothing empowering to women about a woman who takes her clothes off for male enjoyment, as if she's a zoo animal. An empowered female would draw the line at selling her body for a dollar. If she was so empowered there would be no shame or secrecy in her actions. Needing to have someone walk you to your car at the end of the night because your profession is wrought with so much strife is NOT empowering. Clearly it's harmful, scary and unsafe. Spin all you'd like sister. |
