Cornell and NYU |
Hahahahaha. You might want to think again. |
I would counter that if you've got money, connections, fame, title and/or big donations, NYU is an excellent choice for your good for nothing scion. |
Cornell and NYU are highly selective, but I can see where PP was going with this. They are a bit easier to get into than their super elite (among lay people) reputation suggests. |
How to get into UMich with "meh" stats: >be OOS >be full pay >do 1 wk summer camp at UMich summer after soph and/or junior yr >do an admissions tour at UMich in early fall of senior yr >apply EA to their liberal arts college |
You could have stopped with "got money." If you're full pay and seem serious about attending, you'll be admitted to NYU. |
Now you're just being an imbecile. |
See, to me it is sad that you are asking about "brand name." Not quality of education, student experience...BRAND NAME.
Such a sad statement about what drives your decisions, and the fact that you care more about what others think than what is best for YOUR individual child. |
Wake Forest. |
Arizona State is famous for having the most favorable “easy to get into but still sounds vaguely respectable to average Joe” ratio. |
Arizona State is now basically open enrollment. They have vast numbers enrolled online and have a partnership with Starbucks to enroll their employees. I figure its only a matter of time before their stats and reputation tank. |
Out of state + no financial aid really opens things up in the 15-50 range. |
Can you suggest some names? Prefer private not state. We are snobby like that. |
OP said "easiest to get into." ![]() |
Yeah, it really opens things up if you are URM, legacy or recruited athlete and have a 30ACT and a 3.4 UW. For the unhooked masses it is still a glorified lottery.....but you have to have a 33ACT and a 3.8 UW. |
