Stardust in Alexandria; the flank steak, oysters and grilled duck were so good. Good drinks and a great vibe on the weekends.

Louisiana Kitchen on Cordell Ave has Jose in the kitchen who was the chef for 20 years at Louisiana Express.

The owner of Louisiana Express left the restaurant to Jose (the chef) and Carlos (the waiter who had been there for so long). They now run it as Louisiana Kitchen. The menu is almost identical to the old place. Go support them at the new location!

I'm with you! I loved Hot Shoppes and always had liver and onions. Probably the only freak of a kid who ever wanted to eat this.

I also miss Howard Johnsons and the dining counters from stores in the 70's! Back when CVS was People's, the one near me had the best food. I miss the soft serve machine that was in montgomery mall's Woolworth.

Currently I miss Chicken Out.
