I was trying to explain to my kids how Trump pulled funding from several academic institutions and threatened to pull additional funding if they didn’t comply with teaching what the government wanted them to teach, and how this was all somehow done in the name of “free speech.” I couldn’t even remember the twisted logic that supported this idea.

Two of my husbands friends put him on a text chain and they just went OFF on a mutual friend of ours- called her ugly, said the only reason she had a daughter (whom they referred to as it) was because the dad was drunk and it was her only chance at having a kid, she was an angry lib who couldn’t find a man, etc, just one shot after another. Text going ding ding ding all afternoon while he was working. Because she posted on social media about ICE shooting Good. Spare me about this crap that MAGA are victims.
