There’s an argument to be made for that, but not one which favors in Notre Dame, who won’t even join a conference because they are “special.” |
| Not sure if true, but seeing a lot of rumors that ND will be exiting the ACC. ACC is in full panic mode. Press conference scheduled for tomorrow. |
Please help, what conference championship game did ND win? |
|
lol. Yeah right. ACC couldn’t give a crap |
Miami beat ND |
/s cause really he’s just a manchild cry baby whiner |
LOL you are really stupid to think that. The bulk of ND’s athletic teams are ACC. ACC will be screwed. If this is true, the narrative will shift from ND skipping a bowl game to the ACC doing serious damage control. It already has started. Well, Duke's athletic budget is about $167M and it more or less breaks even. I think $4M for them for one game would have made a significant athletic budget impact. For Notre Dame, they get significantly more TV money for football, so less impact. |
There are two major revenue sports with football being paramount. Here are the facts. ND is not in the ACC for Football and their Basketball program is putrid. WTF are you talking about. |
ACC is nothing without ND. Others will leave when ND leaves. Miami, Clemson, etc. It will be the next PAC 12. |
lol you're delusional. Take the crappy basketball program back to Indiana. |
|
Yes, ND plays 5 football games a year vs the ACC and is tied into their bowl game schema. Objectively that draws a lot of ratings, fills stadiums, and offers strength of schedule credibility to an otherwise terrible conference.
The ACC almost fell apart a couple years ago. If ND breaks their relationship, FSU, Clemson, and Miami will also hit the exit. |
lol. What other P4 conference teams are they going to play 5 football games with. The SEC, The BIG? lol They would never do that because they would never make a CPS again. They play the ACC because they think that's where they could get their easiest P4 wins against lower tier ACC teams. Yet, this season they thought they would catch Miami early in the season and get a win before they went down the cupcake row of teams. Didn't work out this year. Sorry |
| Notre Dame's last National Championship was in 1988. Put your head around that one. The Ramblin Wreck, who is taking ND's place in the Pop Tart Bowl, won it last in 1990. |
