GA residents should utilize their two top public options. Excellent value.

Agreed. Much better value.

If they can get into GA Tech or UGA. Not everyone can.

If they can get into Emory they likely can. The publics are way better bang for the buck.

i think they realize this. in state yield for emory is only 40%

UGA is not a great value compared to Emory. Gatech maybe but only for certain majors. However, Emory is free tuition below 200k, so gatceh is only a value if you make 200k+ and can maintain Zell Miller.

For full pay families UGA is a better value than Emory.

This! BC is only worth it of its Carrol, same for Wake if its the Bschool. Tufts is never worth it. The things its good at like international reladoesnt cut it in this economy and would likely need an ivy name, or at least Georgetown to get a position. Same for non WASP LACs.

Totally depends where you live. Wake Forest is not worth it for VA residents. Probably not MD either. Nor NC.

I’d rethinking dropping 90k a year on college period, regardless of major.

Emory's two year college/community college is a great way to open access to students who otherwise would not be able to attend. Once they demonstrate they can do the work, Emory lets them move to the 4 year campus. This takes a page from public colleges like UCF, Penn State, UConn etc.

bc has a nursing school, education school and a night school that grants full bc degrees. Not worth it

Emory-Oxford students’ stats are almost identical to the stats of students on Emory’s main campus. They can do the work.
