The very large empty bag makes me wonder about something like a drug drop, family was in the wrong place at wrong time perhaps. He had bought a house, as a single young teacher seems a bit out of reach financially. Maybe he had alternative income?

It's Springdale, Arkansas not Chevy Chase. Young and not rich people buy homes in places like this all the time. If you make 40k and a house costs 80k it's not all that out of reach.

The house listing and teacher salaries are online. He was loitering with a large empty bag. Could have had a side hustle.

It's good to hear the girls have strong family support in place.

His behavior may not have met the legal standard for "inappropriate behavior," but there's evidence that his behavior as a teacher was very odd...staring at kids, tickling girls, not very communicative, not smiling much, and often giving one word responses. He was about to begin his fourth year of teaching in a 4th school. He's a strange bird.

This.

I have not seen any indication that this was racially motivated

It likely was not.

Why schizophrenia? What information provided (vs notions in your head) seems to point to that?

No doubt they can tell from his eyes.

The scientific method at work.

You can tell a lot from a person's eyes. Don't dismiss the importance of eyes and facial expressions.

Mugshots are known to be completely neutral and objective. Remember, cops are completely incompetent except when it comes to mugshots.

Think what you want. The descriptions of him by students' parents and the woman who was cutting his hair fit his mugshot pics. He is mentally ill.

He's a drug addict. Don't insult the mentally ill.

Many people are both. This guy is also allegedly a killer and a perv. More will come out at trial.

I think it was wrong place, wrong time. Terribly sad. At least the girls have each other.

I agree he is very strange. In addition to the statements about him being odd, not communicative, the kids also said he was their favorite teacher but also sometimes found him strange. I am not sure what to make of that. In any case, the strangeness in itself is not something that would immediately make you think killer. Lots of socially awkward people in this world who are not psychos.

Everyone thinks everyone else is "strange" acting now. It's another buzzword that's meaningless now due to overuse.

Maybe there's a manifesto. Often there is.

One partner has to be Black for them to be an interracial couple?

DP but there are only 4 recognized races, and Australoid is such an outlier, there's really only 3 in most of the world.

This happened in the U.S. though.

Creepy looking white dude in his late 20s with close set eyes.

James Andrew McGann, 28, was arrested on Wednesday in Springdale, Ark.

Most recently we have had numerous 20year old MALES killing:
-PA president rally suspect
-ID arson suspect
-ID college students stabbing suspect
-NYC NFL buikding lobby shooting suspect
-healthcare CEO shooting suspect
-this guy
Have missed many others.
What is going on in America?
And rebels in other countries are youth male more often than not.

Gen x parents giving them $ but not love probably cause they're hanging here and not with their kids

You could probably go back thousands of years in human history and most killings were done by males between 15 and 25. It used to be expected and common. I’m not excusing it but just saying that over the course of human history young men with violence or anger issues could really blend in very well because killing was normal. They could just like join the Crusades or whatever the thing was for their particular time and place. So I don’t think it’s anything in particular about our culture except that they stand out more because it’s not normal in our society for young men to kill.

Socially awkward is one thing; this guy was described as strange by more than a few parents and kids, plus he was placed on administrative leave before he resigned from one of the three schools where he taught in a three year period. I think we will hear of a mental illness diagnosis by the time he goes to trial.

So what's his back story, is it mental illness and/or un/authorized weapons? Can't keep up America

I haven't seen any details at this point.

Victims were stabbed.

Unless you’re working the case, you don’t know that.

Yes I do - Reported by police.

+1 There's an additional Texas school where he was asked to resign after just a few days. (Plsno ISD)
