Funny how you leave out USNews which is the 8000 pound gorilla in rankings.

You realize that if you decide these rankings are the ones on which you rely that you now have to concede that UC Davis and Bentley are better than U Chicago, Penn and a slew of other schools.

1. Diverse
2. Good weather
3. Access to Atlanta’s job market
4. All things medical
5. Coca Cola endowment
6. Near major airport hub for ease of student travel
7. Solid private option in a region that doesn’t have that many private mid-sized colleges

A T25 private is elite, not just solid. Why does Emory get disrespected but the other T25s (ND, Georgetown, Etc) dont? It makes no sense.
It’s simple. Emory has no real standout programs and little name recognition. I see Emory is ranked in the top 30 which is solid for a private. Add in the LACs and Emory is probably barely in the top 40. This is hardly elite.

If Emory is in the T40, what would Gatech be? top 70? Please be real.

Times WSJ college ranking from a few years ago ranked unis and lacs together. Emory is ranked 20, Umich 24, Gatech 69

Emory is and always will be second tier compared to the actual top schools let alone mid tier schools like Umich and Georgetown.

How dare you call Georgetown a mid tier school you rascal

Only like 5 LACs rank highly when included with the national universities. After that, they drop off a cliff.

Emory is Top 25. Better than solid.
