I am not even talking about her haters being conservative (because I don’t think that’s a factor for the most part), but it’s the cult-like irrationality. It’s the hypocrisy and blind loyalty to hating her. It’s the rabid behavior.

If you’re reading this as a Markle hater, I ask that you take two minutes to self reflect.

Sorry I agree with the thread above. MM unites republicans and democrats in their dislike.

Hate is a strong word. She triggers me, because I can see my sister-in-law doing so many things from blaming to being fake sweet to spreading false stories.

The dance video itself is pretty inoffensive. However, if my sister-in-law did it, it would be for attention-getting purposes, and I would mute it.

As opposed to other celebrities, who do not exhibit attention-seeking?

Did those other celebrities make a big stink and excommunicate their in-laws while demanding privacy?

Yes they do actually. Brad Pitt my favorite just did this in his GQ interview. Made a stink abou5 his personal life being in the news then his team turned away and gave People magazine an exclusive about him and his gf. Celebs are hypocritical

Not the best example because I have seen tons of people complaining about Brad's interview. The other poster is right. You cant complain about privacy then turn around and use it like that.

The cringe factor needs a new word.

Actually, most people don't have Royals for in-laws. THEY have the power in the relationship, not her. And King Charles/Prince Willy cannot unite their own family and are expected to lead a nation! What a farce!! No one seems to see that irony. And BTW it's not just Harry who went astray - one doesn't have to go far to see Prince Andrew or King Edward (Queen Elizabeth's uncle), or even King Charles's scandle. This family has very long history of dysfunction and deceit. MM has nothing on them. She's merely a small drop in the bucket - she does get a lot more criticism because 1. She's not British, 2. She's not royalty, 3. She's not upper class, 4. She's half black, and 5. She's American. Wallis Simpson got some wrath because she was American - but she was still white and upper class, yet they treated her with disdain.

There you go then, this isn't about race. Thank you for proving that.

You should work on your reasoning.

I don't see anything wrong here. They look cute, happy and are having fun. There are some seriously miserable people who just can't wait to talk sh*t, eh?

From a PR perspective I thought it was smart specifically because Harry looks so happy and fun here. He's gotten a lot of criticism since that recent interview and this is a peek at him just being a fun and supportive partner and dad. I think Meghan just seems like Meghan and good for her for having humor and being so relaxed at that time -- I will admit that a video of my hospital room at that point in my pregnancy/childbirth experience would have been me anxiously scrolling my phone and alternately arguing with my DH over the baby name because we were at odds about it until the last minute. No cute dancing videos for us!

I guess that’s why the Disneyland trip photos were released too

This is what I don't get about her. She had the attention of the entire world on her and she couldn't handle it. So they left the UK and cause Harry's entire family to stop speaking to him, so they could live a private life. And now she is posting 4-year-old videos of moments that should be shared between the two of them. For what? Attention. Because she doesn't want to be in the spotlight but can't stay out of it. This is why people think she's nuts.

I could never wrap my head around this either…other than they need $$$ now

Basically. I just watched it and it’s harmless fun. It’s not like she did an ad buy and it’s playing on people’s stories when they don’t follow her. She posted it on her own instagram along with a video of their trip to Disney for the kid’s birthday. I really don’t see the problem.

Meghan's entire brand is cutting off the inlaws and family in general.

When you make your brand identity cutting off the in laws as publicly and as agly as possible, you are going to draw ire in a way that a normal celebrity does not.

More people would benefit from that practice. You can cut toxic people out of your life and step out of unhealthy situations that people you love think are acceptable. DCUM would be a happier place if more people did it.

That is not what she is doing though.

She is monetizing her family's private information.

You think dancing in the delivery room is private information?

She filmed it and posted it.

There’s nothing royal or dignified about these two grifters. They act like low class trash who are alums of an MTV or Bravo reality show. It’s just sad. Nobody aspires to be this woman. She lives a fake, empty and Godless life.

I think many people have cut out toxic people and would’ve empathized with the Sussex’s doing so. But the Sussexes haven’t done that. The Sussexes are the ones who keep poking at the relationship, whether through interviews or use of their titles etc.

They are not interesting people, they are not royals, and they don’t have careers. They’re just boring uninteresting middle aged layabouts thirsty for attention. Recycling old content is pretty much all they got at this point.

You’re projecting. Megan is estranged from everyone in her life because she’s a compulsive lying narcissistic grifter and user. Isolating this putz from his friends and family was about her seizing controlling his life and trapping him so he couldn’t leave her once he wised up and realized what a great psychotic nut she is.
