The “moderates” are the reason we are here. If the Dems push the same old moderates out it shows they want the status quo.

No more hiring behind senate rules like the filibuster. Law and order need to be aggressively reestablished. Trump, his family, maga, corrupt judiciary, DOJ, etc must be punished.

As a dem, I do not support this. Enough with extremes. This county will go bipolar if we keep swinging far right and far left, it’s a terrible terrible idea. What we need is moderates on both sides.

lol you live is a fantasy world. There are no moderates on the Republican side. Disarming and throwing yourself on the none existent mercy of maga is a fools game. That is what you do when you vote for moderates. Remember how the democrats controlled the senate but were unable to even investigate SCOTUS’s corruption? That was moderates in action.

For democracy to work both sides must believe in it. The republicans do not believe in it. So go vote for Schumer, Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, etc. you will be putting the nail in your own coffin.

The moderate Biden approach failed. The country needs fighter not appeasers.

Joe lost the election because he lost his marbles, not because he is a moderate.

DP. A little of both. It’s clear that the name of the game is populism. He did nothing, perhaps because he wasn’t all there, and seeing Trump do so much really just underscores it.

He did NOTHING? Are you joking? https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/fact-sheet-the-biden-harris-administration-record

Well, a puppet can do a lot with a vigorous hand in the right place, so, sure.

Biden had his own handlers, they just weren’t interested in any real change. We all saw him sundowning on national television

Hey, it's 2025. Catch up.

Biden's one of the most successful presidents ever, and Democrats want nothing to do with him.

Biden dang sure was successful at creating an easy path for the worst POTUS ever to win a second term.

Seriously. Biden's arrogance was what gifted the presidency to Trump and the GOP. Pretty sure all polling was clear that Americans didn't want a rapidly declining unpopular geriatric who would be 86 while in the Oval Office. And after the debate, when it became evident to the entire planet that Biden had no business being anywhere outside a nursing home, it was too late.

Biden and the DNCs breathtaking smugness and hubris is what gave Trump the White House.

And now here we are.

My only hope is that Democrats actually have an open and free primary for once. Because if they don't and it's another predetermined DNC candidate, I think the Democratic Party is done.

Trump's historically low job approval rating will make it very difficult for the incumbent party to retain power in 2028 just as it did in 2020. Dems have that fact going for them but otherwise, a two-term candidate who is popular with and chosen by the people free of manipulation is the only way to go in 2028.

Democrats also want to separate themselves from Biden's policies.

Separate themselves from the weak on border security talking point, yes, but otherwise Biden's policies didn't differ much from anything Obama or Clinton would have pushed for.

Do you seriously think they are getting divorced?! And why would that even matter anyway.

They aren't and it wouldn't. This is some MAGA garbage trying to take the attention off of Trump's unpopularity once again making it very easy for the Dems to be successful in 2026 and 2028. History repeating itself.

That poster wasn’t maga but rather a democrat.

Trump and the GOP are much more popular than the Democrats are.

Lol... it's 2025. Dems were more popular than that GOP in 2021 and the GOP was more popular than Dems for a brief period during Trump's 1st term. Unpopular, unfit elderly sitting presidents serve up electoral losses for their party. This is an absolute proven fact that we have just seen play out on more than one occasion during the past 8 years. Pay attention people!!

Hi Sarah Longwell!

Nope, not Shapiro. He’s been quiet as a mouse while Pritzger is throwing punches. I’m voting for a fighter.
