Most of the people in our office are in different states, so every meeting we do is virtual. We all sit at our desks looking at computers. |
That’s the point. Between this and Schedule F, all managers and policy makers get ejected to make room for a wave of embedded, deep-state MAGA loyalists. |
lol where are all the MAGA loyalists who want mid-management jobs? Nowhere. |
us too! |
Same. It was like this pre-covid too. Maybe we should go back to using typewriters too. In the spirit of efficiency. |
And I hope they all have law degrees because my agency is all lawyers. |
There aren’t enough literate MAGAs to fill those jobs. |
So as of end of day Friday there’s no info and then people fire up their computers Monday and are told “get to your office now”? I’m a big fan of RTO but this scenario sounds crazy. |
Most 16s at the SEC are not supervisors and are in BU. So they will still telework. I do think that the SEC is being somewhat reasonable by giving that last group until March to RTO. |
HHS guidance is out. Supervisors back full time, with only situational telework, starting Feb 24. Bargaining until back April 28. People hired under actual remote job announcements are exempt for now. |
commerce immediately cancelled telework for all employees except PTO, OIG, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and employees with a CBA. |
cfpb is sticking with our existing TW arrangements |
The HHS document says bargaining unit employees with WFAs (remote and telework agreements) do not have to RTO until labor obligations have been met. Not sure exactly what this means. |
