Why does everyone think Kamala was such a bad candidate?

I mean how bad does a candidate have to be until everyone recognizes their innate loser qualities? I say this with sincerity.

She lost to Trump a convicted disgusting felon with $1B in donations from all walks of life. She's a female diversity candidate who could not rally females and diversity voters. Some people truly do not know when to stop, sigh.

There are lots of reasons for this other than Kamala being a bad candidate, but I doubt Democrats will give a woman the nomination again for a very long time.

Why would you say that? Democratic men have lost before and we never said that we won't run a man again

America will never elect a woman as POTUS. The position is too tied up in concepts of military power, masculinity, and toughness. We'll never elect a gay man either. Just the way it is.

Statistically, at least one of the presidents had to be gay. My money is on Wilson.

Why would you say that? I would think James Buchanan, a man who never married

We'll elect a woman soon enough. But the first woman president will be a Republican. Nikki Haley would have easily defeated Biden or Harris. The problem for Democrats isn't gender. It's their disdain for most Americans. It's their policies - from crime to immigration. It's their capture by the billionaire class, which hates real primaries. It's the local progressive loons closing schools and defunding police. There are lots of reasons aren't winning now, but gender isn't one of them.

Nikki Haley didn't beat Trump, remember? How can you say she would have won?

To add, she was “gifted” the nomination, and I a lot of people had a problem with that, even some Dems. So her support was lukewarm b/c no real accomplishment there. She didn’t win anything.

Also, she carried the water for the “woke” agenda, e.g., Defund the police, trans-men playing women sports, open borders, etc. The average person hears this and thinks they not just bad ideas, but f-ing crazy ideas.

Maybe she could have distanced herself if there was primary, but that didn’t happen.

The dems take the white house with .0000014% of the vote flipped in 3 states.

The 'dems in disarray" and "GOP mandate" headlines are way overblown.

Did the Democrats gerrymander any states, or is this something only done by Republicans?

Think much more recent.

Published multiple times but generally ignored.

Her problem was that she couldn’t distance herself from those ideas because the last time there was a primary she endorsed them all. One of Trumps most effective ads was Harris in her own words calling for free gender reassignment surgery for undocumented border crossers.

There are several Democratic states like Illinois that are heavily gerrymandered. However, it’s more common for Democratic states to only be just slightly gerrymandered like California, Maryland and New Jersey. Not enough to be too blatant, but enough to turn a seat or two in Democrats favor.

Take a look at how Garret Graves (R-LA) lost his seat and let me know if Democrats gerrymander. Granted, his own party did him pretty dirty, but this is ridiculous.

She put Trump to shame during the debate.
I don’t even think her answer on The View that she couldn’t really think of anything she would do differently from Biden was particularly damning. She is his Vice-President, what the heck could she really have said?

And this is coming from someone who voted for Trump, but I would have done so no matter who was on the Democratic ticket.

She wasn't but our country is racist and misogynistic. I actually told a friend they needed to put in a white male otherwise democrats will lose. It's so sad but so true. They literally voted for a rapist over her.

Dems need to stop w/the name calling, it’s not effective to call half the country racist, etc. You’re just driving more people away. And alot of black/brown voted against Kamala, are they racist also ?

I think Dems made a mistake w/the Pillsbury Doughboy as the VP candidate. Should have paired w/AOC, or someone gender-confused, who demands to be called “they”. Point being, you have to run hard to your base. AOC would have brought some excitement and energy to the campaign.

I think it might be the circumstances of her candidacy.

A short primary would have made everything more palatable

We dodged a bullet.

Kamala is a mental midget.

Going to law school, being a prosecutor, a state AG, a senator, and VP are “literal” non-accomplishments to you? lol Have you never voted for someone who WAS accomplished by your criteria then??

She has to take the bar exam 3 times and gained admission to law school under affirmative action.

You have no idea what her stats were to get into law school. You sound racist. The CA bar is notoriously difficult btw.

So? Wouldn't it be nice if a candidate for the President of the United States is one of the 40% who pass it on the first try?
