Anxiety level going uppppp..

I am not voting for either. It is frankly embarrassing that these are the two best candidates our political system could put up. Maybe in 2028 there will be a better option.

I disagree. Trump has indicated that is is INSANE and will do insane sh*t. Why do you think it's just theatrics? He literally tried to overturn the election. If elected, he said he will:
- revoke licenses of broadcasters who disagree with him
- allow rfk jr free rein to 'do what he wants' with health dept including banning some (or all) vaccines
- has not ruled out nationwide abortion ban
- lord knows what to trans people
- raise tariffs hugely so everything we buy will be wildly expensive
- roll back any progress on this rapidly warming planet which will be irrevocable
- ban more books?
- become the king of trolls thus emboldening every internet troll to come out of the shadows and just fully troll in real life, empowered to be as racist, discriminatory and unaccountable as they possibly can bc their troll king will tell them every sh*tty thought they every had is 'ok' and 'they are right'.

that's just the beginning. our lives will change dramatically. that's why everyone is anxious.

He has not ruled out a nationwide abortion ban?

No. I believe that there are more Republicans who care more about country than supporting their party's mentally impaired and morally corrupt candidate. I expect Harris to win by a good man margin.

I think some of you are going to be absolutely shocked and then crushed tomorrow night.

You will also realize (maybe) how much you've been lied to by the media.

This is such made up crap. What are you talking about. The media has been subtly pushing a Trump inevitability angle for the last couple weeks. All of a sudden we get one gold standard unherded poll and we're being 'lied to by the media' for taking it seriously?

I agree, we HAVE been lied to by the media. Because of the infiltration of betting markets into the US election system. I think gambling on election outcomes should be illegal in our country after this.

I don't know a SINGLE DEMOCRAT who feels calm or confident. We're nervous AF. I may be shocked and crushed, but not lied to by the media. The 'media' has done a plenty good job stoking the fires of my existential panic attack for the last few months.

Registered Democrat who feels calm but not confident. Maybe that’s bc I get my news from a wide range of sources and viewpoints.

I get my news from a wise range of sources and viewpoints. I just think most of us have 2016 PTSD.

:raises hand: I certainly do! 2016 knocked all the optimism out of me for elections.

Democrats have won the presidency 12 of the last 16 years, and the single republican win causes them ptsd?

It's Trump specific, not about electing a Republican. Dems wouldn't feel this way with a Romney or McCain win.

I remember both of them being called Hitler and that they were going to take away abortion too.

Funny thing is that they were RINOS

The left does this to anyone the right puts up. Remember how Bush was treated.

Nope, I remember telling my second grade class that either McCain or Obama would be great because I respected McCain but felt Obama was an exciting historical choice for the fact that a poc was even on the ballot. Just one gal’s experience, but…

Same. I respected McCain and Romney was fine enough.

Romney was going to put blacks back “in chains,” per Dems. I remember that well.

And the liberal media excoriated McCain for saying the economy was fundamentally sound. Every Republican is the most dangerous candidate in history, until the next one comes along.

Democrats think every presidential election belongs to them. And every republican is a nazi.

If illegal immigrants keep getting implanted in every swing states, there won’t be any more swing states. America will be a one party country, and that’s their goal.

I think Kamala is an amazing option. I don’t find her embarrassing at all. I can’t imagine anyone better honestly. Trump on the other hand is like if animal from the muppets had a psychotic break and dementia and was also a sociopath.
Wait actually I like animal I take that back

Do you remember when he said it?

He said it at a time payroll had fallen for 8 straight months, where 400,000 NEW claims for unemployment were filed weekly, where inflation was above 5%, two of our largest financial institutions that guaranteed over half our mortgages had to be taken over by the government, where the fourth largest investment bank filed for chapter 11.... Maybe, just maybe, it was tone deaf, dead wrong, and the fundamentals of the economy were in fact, not sound.

Yep. And per those same Dems, Trump is going to “round up black people and put them in camps.” These are not mentally well individuals.
