Here is how to transfer to any high school in the area

MaxPreps rosters for most teams are a mess unless the school is actively curating them. A lot of the players listed on the Hayfield MaxPreps roster already graduated.

The YouTube video posted earlier in this thread has three parents saying they were renting in Woodbridge and when their leases were up; rented in Hayfield zone and moved there permanently.

If that’s true for all 13 then there isn’t really anything anyone can do.

What about the fundraising on the private platform?

What does it mean when fcps says that the students met their requirements but not VHSLs?

Including two kids who played Varsity football as 8th graders last year. Does anyone else find that incredibly bizarre and dangerous?

One of my friend’s kids played varsity as an 8th grader. Now he’s a 4 star athlete in the Big 10. If they have the talent, it can happen.

How could they possibly conclude that this guy didn't recruit studennts to transfer?

Varsity tackle football? Its a safety issue IMO.

Was the meeting recorded?

They didn't actually talk to any students during their "investigation".

Frankly, I'm not buying it.

We've invsstigated ourselves and found no wrong-doinf!

How do you meet the school's requirements to play but not VHSL's?

So they had at LEAST 14 suspicious transfers, but they only physically went to 7 alleged addresses, and only once for each of those?

It doesn't seem like they were looking very hard to find anything.

They didn't talk to any students, and their "investigator" just reviewed what FCPS handed to her. She didn't do any independent work herself.

How can this possibly be true?

"That review has now been completed and did not substantiate the allegations published in local media that the Hayfield HS head football coach used his position to illegally recruit players from Freedom HS."
------

Are we supposed to believe that 12 families all just decided on their own to suddenly move (or pretend to move) to Hayfield HS zone with no conversation with the football coach over it?

This is FCPS.

I'm sure this investigator understood the assignment.

FCPS sent my SN child's personal information to a reporter (maybe this same reporter, not sure). They sent me a generic letter sending me to Experian! When I called Experian, they had a script they read. Why Experian was involved, I have no idea. I guess just to avoid having FCPS staff deal with it? I was back and forth with FCPS for months just trying to see what documents about MY OWN CHILD were sent out into the world. Once they finally sent me what they gave out, it was incredibly sensitive information. I was appalled.

My point is: they put a lot of effort into cover-ups.
