This thread seems to appeal to the lowest IQs and I can see why it is to be avoided. |
What? You make no sense. Maybe stop trolling and gaslighting. |

Amazing there are people so dedicated to proclaim that they never heard about the school LOL I never heard about most of the colleges. I don't go tell them about it LMAO |
| Unless you live under a rock you know about Northeastern. This reminds me of my neighbor who didn't know about Bowdoin even though he grew up in Maine!!!!! |
Simply not true. It has been a local/regional school until very recently when they made it so easy to apply by just a few extra clicks on the common app. No essays or additional materials like most colleges require for an application. |
|
Simple truth is that the school performs at a very high level.
So many many high stat kids apply and the school is filled with those students. It's performance is as good or even better than many T25 schools. So not surprising at all. Use your common sense. |
This is just getting pathetic. |
It hasn't been a regional school for over 25 years. You are revealing your age when you write like that!! |
Also their ignorance! Wouldn't it be nice if people who didn't have accurate info would just not post? |
Fact is a fact is a fact. I understand you are very old but that’s the fact today. 30 years ago doesn't matter. |
Or 50+ years. I am wondering about the person who keeps trying to make that claim, however. Maybe they went or their kids are going to an actual current commuter school, and they are upset about it. Seems odd to keep coming here to post about it. Especially if the information is inaccurate about the school they are posting about. So weird how some people's minds work. |
. (or don't!) |

I have heard the same thing about USC for the longest time. "Univesity of Spoiled Children". Horrible students but the parents pay for their child to be babysat for 4 years. Then when USC becomes an academic powerhouse, along comes someone who claims that back in the 1980's USC admitted pretty much any student who applied.
What does that have to do with the current state of USC? Nothing. And as far as ignorance, my dear dear friend has a daughter who goes to WashU. She has recounted that almost everyone thinks it is University of Washington. I say if you want to wallow in ignorance, be my guest! |
| You are delusional if you don’t think peer institutions are University of Phoenix and Devry University. |
I really hope you get help. Reading this thread, the fact that your child got rejected from NEU doesn't mean you should go all out crazy-lady against the school. I wonder if you are purposefully trying to be so incendiary that DCUM can never have a normal discourse about the school? Your hate towards it permeates every thread. Quite toxic your emotional state it is. |
