You sound dumb. Do you ever watch something awful with a white male showrunner and think, show runners need to be minority women? No, right? See how stupid you sound? A fellow "minority woman" |
I really hope not. He is like a golden retriever. I don't know what is going on with Pete! How are they going to wrap all this up in one more episode?! |
|
This show sucks. I keep watching only because I've already spent so many hours. Entirely forgettable show
.. |
| Why on earth doesn't Pete say NO to Danvers when she demands he come out at 3:30am to chase some hunch she has? I actually don't blame his wife for being so angry at him. After hours work is one thing - being on call 24/7 is not acceptable. |
| This season is just objectively bad. It had so much potential with a solid cast and I even dig the Alaska setting, but my god, the script seems like it was written by ChatGPT. |
+1 Maybe he has some mother hang-up with her. |
It’s small town policing/doctoring/nursing/vet care - you’re it. You’re needed, you go. |
No. Not to go explore some remote hunch that could wait until morning. Ridiculous. |
“Magic” |
|
Well, what did you think of the ending?
I liked it. |
| I was quite pleased. |
|
Spoiler…
I thought it was a great wrap up that grounded most of the story in reality despite all of the portends toward supernatural. Two questions - Navarro died by suicide? And who left Annie’s tongue- Annie herself? |
I like it too. I was skeptical they’d wrap it up but I enjoyed it. |
I thought it was a great wrap up. My take on Navarro is she finally left Alaska behind, but then I can't explain why she's on the porch at the end. Tongue - I think the corrupt cop left it. |
|
I think Navarro moves out to a house out on the ice (like Rose), and we see Danvers and her stepdaughter go out to visit her at the end. And that's why they are both on the deck.
Or Danvers entered the spirit realm and is just visiting Danvers on vacation. Toss up I guess, depends on how much you are willing to buy into the mystical aspects of the show. |
