They aren’t whistleblowers, just investigators who got pissed when prosecutors said they didn’t have enough evidence for the charge. It happens all the time. It’s literally a major plot point in every cop show. The prosecutors make that call, not the investigators. The only thing new here is the investigators didn’t keep the disagreement in house and chose to be political leakers.

Do you mean this guy? He was dismissed. Regardless of what you think, in the US justice system both the defense and the prosecution have a say on which jurors are selected and which are dismissed. That means that the prosecution can dismiss someone with ties to the defendant. So stop talking out of your ass.
