Thanks so much for appreciating that PTAs are volunteers with limited budgets doing the best they can.

NP but get a clue and do better with your limited budget. At the very least, the $10 people spent on a pie or the ingredients to make a pie could have gone to a coffee cart or a catered lunch in the break room.

Our PTA does catered lunch on Monday and also gives each teacher a pie on Tuesday.

Our PTA spends $70K on teachers, but doesn't tell the people who donate it where the money is going, so at least you're better off than us.

No pie for us 😭

I do not want a pie. I will give it away or throw it away.

I saw a guy on the metro yesterday with a pie. Then I noticed when he got off he dumped it in the trash. I assume his office gave it to him and he didn't want to be spotted tossing it near the office.

My sons office gives turkeys! But you can opt to donate it if you can not use it

I would do the same if I was given a pie at work. Trash it once I was far enough away so no coworkers could see.

What school? If you state it here, maybe some other school that clearly has a lot to go around can donate to the pie deprived schools.
