Probably all of my life

-married an alcoholic in recovery (many decades of sobriety now, sober for over 7 years when we met)
-breast fed then switched to formula at 3 months when kids went to day care
-not a keeper of a clean house, although it is clean for about 24 hours every 2 weeks when the cleaners come
-have a sewer mouth and curse with abandon, although ot at work or in front of other people's children
-have always spoken my mind
-advocate for what I believe in and vote not only on election day but with my wallet, not supporting right wing businesses
-have multiple piercings (but no tattoos- don't like 'em)
-our older teenage children have never been to Europe but have been to Alaska and South America and all over the US (although not to red states since 2016)
-I wear diamond studs in the daytime (didn't know that was a thing and dont really care)
-am skinny and fit, but only due to weight loss drugs

I do not eat “real” “adult food.” When I go out to eat, I order chicken tenders & fries.

What about the people who don't listen to what you say, then reply offering you the very opposite of what you requested.

I wear shoes inside the house.

I love scented products. Laundry detergent, hand soap.

I wear shoes in the house. Mostly house shoes but sometimes I forget. We have dogs and live in the burbs so it kind of cancels out.

Me, too! Though I have lost 23 pounds without the use of semaglutides--so DCUM would approve of that (or not because I got fat in the first place.

I do think diversity is a strength (not our greatest strength but a strength) and I think we should respect everyone - use kind language, be polite, etc. - but I do agree that the DEI movement should die.

I agree with the second poster. Diversity is a strength, but that this point DEI has become a boom industry full of grifters with a financial interest in keeping us all segregated and angry. Racial harmony is not good for business. I’m now skeptical of anyone with any sort of DEI-related job title.

Agree completely.

DEI is dividing people and tearing this country apart. It is accomplishing the opposite of its intended goals, and needs to go away. I actually agree with the Florida’s Governor’s decision to expel DEI from the state government.

I love my comfortable, somewhat orthopedic sandals.

I have gray hair.

I'm 62 and don't use botox or wear makeup.

I let my hair air dry and it's still wet when I get to work.

95% of grandmas are exactly as you described. You fall in line with your peers.

This is DCUM, pp is not a grandma at 62 but rather the mom of 16 year old.
