+1. I actually think that's what got Ana killed. She bought the new house in DC, new job, she made all the money, and her friends have reported that she had the kids bedrooms all set up in DC. She told him she was taking the kids to DC with her when he eventually reported to prison as they both knew he would.

So sad to think that she stayed just one day too long and now her kids are motherless.

And effectively fatherless too. They are orphans with an older, infirm grandma on one side (who raised a murderer) and their mom's side live out of the country. So so sad.

Are you thick? Canada is ANOTHER COUNTRY. I'm not saying moving the kids to Canada is impossible, but you can't honestly be so stupid as to think that from a legal guardianship perspective, sending the kids to another country is "essentially the same" as keeping them in the country. You know that they have different laws, different government, different rules for citizenship? Ever heard the phrase "international adoption"? Its not the same as a domestic adoption.

There is some reciprocity between Canada and the US when it comes to child and family. Rulings made in US can very reinforced in Canada and vice versa. So I wouldn't rule out Canada at all.

Right, there is a mountain of evidence from the dumpster near his mother's house but it looks like he successfully disposed of her body via another dumpster, the contents of which were incinerated. Monster.

Oh my God I can't imagine how she actually died, but it wasn't pretty. Broken teeth? Did he beat her to death? I can't recall when she was last seen/heard from. Could she have been dead earlier than New Years Day?

They had a friend over for NYE dinner and he didn't leave until 1:30 am. I suspect a drunken fight ensued and he beat her to death.

hopefully it was quick and then he broke the teeth after the fact to prevent identification.

I literally have no words. This is beyond horrific. I really hope that their evidence is strong enough to convict him and send him away for life. I cannot imagine the trauma that these young boys will need to endure someday once they learn how their mother died at the hands of their father. This man is a monster. Who does this? Especially to the mother of his children. It also makes me sad that the boys will never have a grave where the can visit their mother.

A man did this in CA and his parents, who have the kids, have convinced them their father in innocent, and their mother’s family is evil for wanting him punished, and the kids claim they don’t want to see their maternal family.
