No need to move the goalposts. We have seen some of the messages between Ginny Thomas and Mark Meadows. The wife of a sitting justice attended the 1/6 rally at the Ellipse and was in direct communication with the WH Chief of Staff. She is tied to a number of astroturf groups promoting the Big Lie.

We already know that Trump’s White House was coordinating with the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh’s predecessor realized he had to retire early from the Court when Trump was elected because this predecessor’s son worked for Deutsche Bank and was directly involved in giving loans to Trump (when no other bank would, btw). Predecessor then scheduled a meeting in the White House and anointed Kavanaugh as his preferred successor. THIS HAS NEVER BEEN OK. The whole “who gets the rose” drama that the WH staged like a dating show was a sham.
Am I really the only person here who remembers this?

What does that mean? When the Benghazi hearings were going on did the channels give equal time for Obama and Clinton (not that they had to) to issue rebuttals?

No rebuttals were necessary. Clinton showed up and testified under oath for hours, as did every other witness. But that didn’t stop Fox News or the oleaginous Mike Pompeo.

Do you have the slightest idea how our system of governance works? I suppose you think the only people who should be investigated are Democrats because muh freedom.

Strange that posters want to keep taking the time to tell us that nobody cares and ratings were not high enough.

Tucker, too. Fox had them both go commercial free last night so no one would switch channels.

I really liked the way they laid everything out last night. I liked the new video and heavy use of depositions to support the claims being made. It was well done.

Fox is playing the long con as usual. If it doesn’t broadcast the hearing then it can support the narrative that nobody watched the hearing and thus nobody cares. 20 million viewers is a very good number for an early summer Thursday evening (late afternoon West Coast). Don’t buy into the lies and propaganda.

Fox owns its NY affiliate WNYW (Channel 5). It broadcast Top Chef Junior.

Why? The GOP has shown us for years that they are willing to sacrifice our children for guns.

We live in Ballston. Kids watching and they were very concerned. They saw cops racing on 1/6 but not sure they new our neighborhood was a holding ground for munitions. now they do.

I"m in Balllston too. On that day we were passed on 66 by the 2 dozen or so cops. Went home to watch the news. My 11. yr old went around locking all the doors and checking all the windows. Months later, we found out about the guns in Ballston. The day after we went to urban target and saw the free insurrectionists and it took all my self control not to yell at them to leave. VA is a conceal carry state and an open carry state so I didn't speak up b/c they might have had a gun and I for sure didn't.

We watch last night with our kids but only half and I did have my hand ready to cover eyes...

20 million viewers not counting streaming.

I know! If they stopped posting, they would truly show how little they cared

Which is a big deal, because lots of people stream nowadays, me included. Also, for some reason, not counting PBS.
