How should I feel about the fact that my next door neighbors put a Youngkin board on their lawn?

Lt Gov candidate is AA. AA is in the POC category so I would not be concerned. https://winsomesears.com/

She has an impressive background. Thanks for sharing!

"A different view"? That's cute.

Pedophiles have "a different view" about some things. Would that matter?

Karen logic 101.

People-with-morals logic 101

LOL. Honey, you are too funny.

So comparing a criminal to someone w a different political pov...got it...

Just trying to explore moral/ethical boundaries of “different view”. That is one extreme. Where is your line on amoral “views”?

What if that “different view” supports The Big Lie?

An opinion or "view" is simply that. Smart/interesting people have dumb opinions all the time. I ignore and move on. Then...when those same smart/interesting people have options I don't think are dumb, I engage. A bad or poor opinion on a topic is not worth writing someone off completely, from my perspective.

It's the whole sticks and stones theory...

So there are no views/opinions that would dissuade you from associating with a neighbor?

Someone who believes…white supremacy?

Someone who believes…Trump won 202?

Someone who believes….defund the police?

Someone who believes….antifa?

I moved recently and was horrified to see a Youngkin sign in the new neighborhood. It’s flanked by “Black lives matter” on the neighbor to one side and “hate has no home here” on the other but I was still surprised in 2021 someone would look around and think “I should be on the side of the mob that stormed the Capitol”

The only people who “believe” in antifa are RWNJs.

Maybe both of you would actually learn a thing or two and be better people for it.

No, sorry. It’s not 1990 anymore. If you vote R, you vote for the Trump party, and we have absolutely nothing whatsoever to “learn” from you. Your vote told us everything about you we needed to know.

So much intolerance for anyone who doesn’t support the corrupt political hack McAuliffe.

So you believe all R’s supported Trump? And all Dems support AOC? Sanders?

Or…could there possibly be moderates on both sides that could agree on like 75% of the issues? I’m an R (not the poster) and have plenty of Dem friends. Good friends. Family friends. Travel together. The whole thing. While I didn’t vote for Trump, I have voted R prob 80% of my life, including the last cycle. I have no idea if my Dem friends have ever voted R and I don’t really care. Won’t change how I feel about them either way.
More to life than politics. And devise, dramatic, sensationalized takes don’t change anyone opinions, it only hardens the side that each person is on.

PP said “if you vote R” which certainly does NOT mean all Rs support Trump or Trumpy candidates.

There are R politicians and candidates who denounce Trump and who aren’t pushing The Big Lie. That isn’t Youngkin. He’s Trumpy and pushing the same BS about “election integrity”.

No R with principles would vote for Trump - or Youngkin - or any R candidate currently pushing to erode democracy.

So let’s say you think McAuliffe is a political hack. Is that truly worse than someone pushing “election integrity” BS? Someone ready to “go on the offense” against women’s rights?

Is that really your priority?

Sounds like a good campaign slogan. Go ahead and put that on your yard sign.
