Where are the 4:45-5am commute starters headed?

I start hearing the cars start-up and leave our complex at 4:30/4:45am.

where is your complex? Most people I know who are starting that early are doing it to avoid traffic.

I drive to a 5:30am boot camp. My work commute doesnt start until 7:30.

Some people work hours such as 6-3, for a variety of reasons, such as:

1) they can get home earlier to be w/ their kids
2) they can avoid traffic
3) other?

I don't work these hours but some folks in my office do.

DH and I do a 5:30am boot camp, too. Home a couple of minutes after it ends at 6:30 (we are literally a 1-2 minute drive away). He showers and is out the door by 7:15, I shower and then WFH.

Before I had my daughter, I'd leave at 5:30/5:45 to commute while the traffic was light, work out, and then be at my desk by 9. I miss those days!
