| I wouldn't. We really loved Bora-Bora. |
| How stuck are you? |
|
Make that: How stuck up are you?
|
| Not at all. Just wondering what other amazing and/or disappointing places there are opinions of. |
| No. Sri Lanka & Maldives. |
| I wouldn't pick a different location- just change how long we spent there. We went to Malta and Rome. I've been to Rome a lot (used to live overseas), but DH hadn't. We stayed too long in Malta and not long enough in Rome. |
| Didn't have a honeymoon. |
I've always wondered about Maldives, is it as amazing as it seems? |
| No. We went to Australia and New Zealand and it was wonderful! |
|
We really enjoyed Hawaii. We spent a week on Maui and a week on Kauai. There is so much to see and do there. We did a lot of hiking. I think out of the entire 14 days we were there, we spent a total of 2 days on the beach.
If we could have left the country, we probably would have done Australia and the South Pacific islands. However, DH was still in the process of getting his green card, so we had to stay in the U.S. |
| I would've skipped Paris and spent the entire time in Florence. Quiet, relaxing, beautiful. |
| I would have gone longer but DH didn't have that much leave. |
| Nope. Two weeks in St. Bart. Glad we eloped too. Weddings are a waste. |
| I'd absolutely re-do our honeymoon! We were young and clueless with not much money - we went to Ceasar's Pocono Palace (cue laugh track here). It was delightfully tacky and low-budget. But we made up for it for our 10th anniversary by going to the Riviera Maya. Next year is our 15th and we're planning to go somewhere luxurious in the Caribbean. |
| The honeymoon isn't about the location. You can make great memories anywhere, and if it didn't fulfill all of your travel wishes you have a lifetime for that. |
