If you had a chance to re-do your honeymoon, would you pick a different location?

Ditto the above! Also was young and an inexperienced traveler and went to a generic all-inclusive in the caribbean. Would never do that now, but have wonderful memories of floating on rafts in the turquoise blue sea and sipping piƱa coladas with our feet in the sand!

Nope. (Turkey/Greece)

Hawaii..loved it but would have stayed at big island the whole time..more tropical and less commercial than Maui..ESP the Kapalua side of Maui which is known foe wind and rain (didn't know that ahead of time). That being said I still had a great time!!!

We didn't have a honeymoon. I wish I could go back and do one because even if we ever take another big trip like that, it won't be the same as a real honeymoon. There's something about being just married and going on vacation.

No. Didn't have leave at the time we got married so immediate honeymoon was 3 days/ 2 nights nearby. Real 'honeymoon' was 8 months later and was 6+ weeks of budget-travel through parts of Eastern Europe, Turkey & Greece. Still one of the highlights of our married life. Am just hoping we don't need to wait for retirement to get that kind of time off again.

Yes! Did Italy in a bargain-travel sort of way and it was kind of stressful, at times!

+1

We got married young and the in-laws said they'd gift us with a honeymoon. Well, they meant with them along. So we'll Just wait for our tenth anniversary next summer.

Loved Greece but not when we went - August. Too hot and crowded from all the European vacationers. Wish we went when it was cooler and for longer (7 days including travel time wasn't long enough to do all the island hopping we wanted)

No. We went to Venice in mid-November. It was great, empty of tourists, quiet, not too cold, got a free upgrade to the biggest hotel suite we ever had (because hotel was not full). It was truly great.

We loved our time in San Francisco and Napa Valley! I do wish we had been able to take more time (we were there five days) but neither of us had a ton of time to take off work. However, we are hoping to go back and spend more time (especially in Napa) for our tenth anniversary.

FWIW, we chose our destination because we had gotten engaged in the Virgin Islands and did not feel the need to do something tropical again so soon. We have also had the chance to travel in Europe five times since we got married (and we knew some of that was on the horizon) so I am glad we did not break the bank at the time and go with our first choice of Paris (even though it is my favorite place on earth).

I've always wondered about Maldives, is it as amazing as it seems?
yes, it was, though after a week there we were happy to be in the hustle and bustle of Sri Lanka. Maldives beaches are great, the hotel was amazing, it was so nice to just relax.

Nope. We went to St. John and absolutely loved it.

Loved our honeymoon! 25 days split between Rome, Florence, Orvitto, Isla d'Elba, Sienna, and Portugal. Busy but so worth it.

We didn't do a big wedding, (my 2nd marriage, DH's 1st) only about 15 people total

I loved our honeymoon. two weeks in greece in mid-september, after the crowds had left. It was absolutely wonderful. It's been 13 years and I hope someday we can go back and basically recreate the trip exactly (except for the donkey ride in santorini, that I could've done without).
