Kyle is guilty of dangerously poor judgment. But, many 17 year olds are. He's not a murderer or a gang member, though, like has been discussed. He's a kid that made a cascading series of bad decisions that put him in the position of needing to take a life or sacrifice his own. I'm not going to hold him up as an example of a hero, and he's not a perfect victim either. He is a kid and I hope he's able to move on from this.

Rittenhouse is the one who *prevented* his self-appointed executioners from succeeding. Of course, as Prosecutor McTubby argued, he was a wuss for not standing still and allowing them to beat him to a pulp (or grab his weapon and kill him).

Sues broadly for what? It's indisputable that he shot and killed two people and injured another. Whether it was a crime was an open question. That's the point of a trial. Would you prefer gun deaths in general not get prosecuted?
