Seems the talking points have gone out. People were defending Willis and saying the defense can't disprove her claims. She repaid in cash that she was collecting at Publix $50 at a time. No prior relationship.

Now they are pivoting to it's irrelevant, no conflict of interest.

And, why wouldn't the evidence of a PI who collected geolocation evidence not be admissible if he/she can prove that the methods used were acceptable?

Bottom line it looks like Fani Willis and Nathan Wade committed perjury. Wade was a little less direct in his statements of whether he visited her at her home. Willis was emphatic.
I think they still have the defense of the cellphone data isn't that accurate, he was visiting someone else.

Regardless of legalities, Fani Wills needs to recuse herself.

It's a very important, historic case.

And the DA is having an affair with the married Special Prosecutor. And sending him a considerable amount of State money.

It's not a good look.

Absolutely no one in America is going to regard this case as a neutral exercise of justice.

She needs to recuse. The optics are terrible. It's a total win for Trump and his supporters. And a big loss for the credibility of the Courts.

You are defining conflict of interest as the first definition below.
It is the 2nd definition.
If she was having an affair with him prior to hiring him, and then benefited from the payment he received (and she approved), then definition #2 applies.
One could argue HE also benefited simply by getting the job as special prosecutor, despite having no experience in the type of trial he was hired to prosecute.

How would Sadow get phone records? There's no criminal case to warrant it. Not even a trial for that matter.

Sadow is just setting up fake scenarios to pretend he has something. Red meat for the Trumper audience... yet they don't realize that Sadow is just doing kabuki theater.
