So while Diddy did hire him to train Cassie, it's not like he was a regular employee of diddy's. Remember Cassie testified that Diddy told her she needed to start working out and keep herself in shape. I saw that it was posted. They originally wanted a 50 million dollar hush money settlement from Diddy. They were money hungry due to the financial struggles they were having. Cassie isn’t smart enough to cook this up on her own. Her husband is the one who encouraged her to extort Diddy. Diddy refused to pay the hush money. Cassie then went to social media to go public with the claims.

To avoid litigation, Diddy settled with Cassie for 20 million dollars.

That was the biggest mistake Diddy made. After he paid Cassie the 20 million dollars, the floodgates opened and a bunch of random escorts and opportunists and broke former artists of his claimed they were abused and they saw freakoffs too. The stories became more salacious, the attorneys saw a payday and opportunity for fame, and the train has not stopped since.



lol nobody pays $20 mil to settle a nuisance case. Whether or not this was racketeering I don’t know; but the facts are beyond dispute that he abused Cassie for a decade+.

My friend is a criminal defense lawyer, and she said having his kids in the courtroom is a mistake because the jury would be side-eyeing it. If she were Diddy's lawyer, she would've gone to war with him over it. She would have them come in the beginning, and then right before questioning started, she would've made an exaggerated look and wave (for the jury to see) to indicate the children should leave the courtroom. To show family support, but also show they aren't crazy. lol
