Good! Nothing wrong with getting two competitive leagues where parents have options. Isn’t that better for kids and families? |
Could go either way. On this site you're only getting the ECNL parents perspective. |
The sources who have proved themselves most credible over the last few months say it's "likely to go SY, but not guaranteed." |
Looking more and more like SY everyday. But staying BY doesn’t look like it’s completely off the table yet. |
And this would impact all leagues considering this would be a US soccer decision? I have kids who are just about to start U9 and when I heard it was by BY now I was so confused haha. When I played it was SY |
Sounds like Us soccer will differ to various leagues to decide. Rather than make it a mandate. |
GA YNT/Pro focused . . . ha ha ha. |
That's now what the DPL link said. |
That's NOT what the DPL link said. |
No that reading is wrong. It wil be mandate one way or the other. |
Based on what? A fake email? DPLs PR says US Soccer will decide. |
What’s funny. They were just sanctioned less than a year ago. these things take time. You better believe their goal is to recreate DA with the ability to play high school. |
Seems like USSF would love that, but is GA just going to hand over their league to USSF? Is USSF going to subsidize any costs for clubs/players from its own revenue? Other than BY cutoffs, it's not clear what they would do to try to pull the most talented girls away from ECNL. |
| It won't impact every kid but which team they will be playing for next year would depend on the coach and how the teams looking. Some will stay on current team and some will be moved down and this will be case by case for each player. |
Wasn’t DA free? |
