Fiona Hill says she never told Morrison that Vindman was untrustworthy. Says on everything he had been working on he was excellent and highly trustworthy but maybe wasn’t the best to move into a different/more partisan job. So Morrison slagged him for no reason.

I know many people who have worked directly with Fiona Hill. I have zero surprise that she is hitting this out of the ballpark. She has been known in Russia expert communities for years as a brilliant scholar and a consummate professional. These guys are way out of their depth with her.

Hill giving a very impassioned defense of Vindman and saying his "judgment" she questioned was his political judgment - sounds like he didn't realize the domestic politics stuff that was starting to infiltrate the NSC. Which may explain why Vindman was so shocked by Trump's phone call with Zelensky.
