Yes, and it has been widely know from the outset of this year that this was going to be his last year. |

Congrats to Jeff Bellistri on an incredible run at Bullis! He built Bullis into a national power during his tenure and helped raised the bar for DMC lacrosse. Excellent coach, and I know there are tons of Bullis alums who absolutely loved playing for him.
Thanks, Coach! |
Pp. I don’t have a kid at or connection to GP and I don’t think the boarders will make them particularly good. If it hasn’t worked for Boys Latin, it’s unlikely to work for GP. |

How did STA make the IAC Championship? What did I miss?
Agree that WCAC final will be PVI vs SJC |
Yes! |
DITTO |
Please, Landon, Prep and Gonzaga raised the bar. Not Bullis who was built on scholarships. Bullis is done. |

Boys Latin imploded this year.
Worst Laker squad in over two decades and their JV squad was average too. |

Are the Prep faithful this delusional these days?
Do you really think you beat Landon without your entire starting attack group - all of whom board at the school? |
Try winning a face off. |
Scary thing is that Prep won't almost 90% of the faceoffs and still almost lost both games. What would the results have been if Landon had even won 35% |
Non-responsive. |

IAC championship, keys for tonight:
Prep wants to score a few goals early and kill the magic, do better than 50% at the X, and not get drawn into a slugfest. Close game at the half keeps the crowd involved and is not where they want to be. Prep has shown that they can go on scoring runs when their offense is clicking. Either of their top two attack can score a few goals quickly, which presents a coverage nightmare for any defense. If they can possess the ball and dictate the pace, watch out. Prep also has exceptional depth, which could be a factor in the 2nd half, with both teams coming off bruising double overtime contests. The last time these two teams met, Prep's depth across all positions was apparent and they ran away with it in the second half. STA wants the opposite, a physical game, better goaltending and control the X, get a bounce or two and win it close. Without the blue chips they'll rely on a physical team with some gritty athletes. FO scored the lone goal against Prep early in the season, but STA has figured things out offensively and started putting points on the board with a lot of upperclassmen on the offensive side. With an offensive spark and good goaltending, nothing is impossible. Playoffs are tricky. Look for a game that is closer than expected. |
Easy there dad. They only hate them because they have met them, watched them play or listened to their parents. Its not a personal thing. |
Says everything about you to respond to a positive message about a great coach retiring... after beating Landon, Prep, and Gonzaga in the regular season with a team that was declared dead in the pre-season. |
