That’s what you have to do with straw men; set ‘em up and then tear ‘em down.

Confused...Are you saying Capital teams and their players are just constantly tearing each other down? Is this comment specific to just girls in the 2030 class in the area?

You’re already giving this way too much thought. Many people are threatened by Capital - other club teams, disgruntled parents of kids who didn’t make the cut, etc. They take on various personalities on this board to poison the well. Don’t take the bait.

Make sure your child is going to a school where they would have gone anyway or you’ll end up with a child who will transfer or be unhappy. Trust me. It only works out for about 6 Capital Blue players.
Save your family the hassle and just enjoy high school. And definitely skip Capital Orange.

Just bec your kid didn’t land a dream school doesn’t mean others shared the same experience. The stats don’t lie - way more than six per class go to very strong schools and lax programs. Put these Capital Blue numbers up against any other DMV club:

NXT took out M&D and MDU on their way to the indoor championship. Back-to-back indoor titles for NXT

NXT built for indoor, their goalie is tall and has great range and was getting the clears out after saves or goals to midfield and created fast breaks leading to goals or FP.

Very tight game in championship, 13-12 NXT over MDU.

It looked like NXT made a big decision to thin the bottom part of their roster for this event, which is smart but didn’t seem like most others did.

Good for them. Not every club will go all out for a W. Too afraid of the parents.

Future cap blue 30 parents already setting up the “we play all our players” excuse for losing to better programs. Love it.

This feels too early to begin the capital hate campaign. I guess the 2030 parents are advanced.
