I think you mean 2034, the YJMA 2033 team is not quite there yet. It's hard to tell whether this is only because of a specific coach who coaches 2031 and 2034. |
| My DD knows a few of the most recent DI YJMA recruits that play public HS in Va. both said the club did absolutely nothing for them recruiting. It was 100 them. Maybe younger teams will be different with being ranked higher and in better brackets but those older teams were ranked so poorly coaches weren’t watching them |
Disagree. Capital Orange recruiting commitments are embarrassing. Never play on a B team. The coaches they get on the sidelines aren’t schools you’ll want to attend.

Capital Orange consistently (as in every grad year) ends up with either their entire roster or almost their entire roster committing to play in college, other than Capital Blue, no other Club Team in the DMV can say the same. The other clubs typically have some commitments but not their entire roster. You have to go far into MD to get similar results from a “B Team” at the top clubs. The comparison was YJ DMV to Capital Orange, if a player’s aspiration is to play at the college level (including D2 and D3), Capital Orange has consistently shown it gives its players a platform where this is possible. |
| Anybody know how much are Cap club dues? Heard they were significantly more than others. |
The club dues are insignificant compared to the overall costs you'll incur on this journey. Whether you pay $2,000 or $4,000 in dues makes little difference in the grand scheme. |
The vibes are very different, we are at YJ and wouldn't consider Capital for high school. |
Seems extremely short sided, but to each their own. |
Not short sighted to consider where my daughter will have a fun and kind group of girls as teammates for another four years. Who knows how many of our girls will actually play lacrosse in college, in the meanwhile I she will enjoy her high school sport and be less likely to burn out. |

| Capital / BLC posters are insufferable |
| +++++1 |
| No shame in knowing that a player doesn’t have what it takes or can’t handle the commitment. |
| And no shame in wanting your daughter to be surrounded by good people rather than those who are constantly trying to tear each other down, you can be committed without being a miserable person |
