Kyle Rittenhouse: Vigilante White Men

Anonymous
It's not illegal to be stupid. However, I would argue that it is perfectly legal to defend yourself, which KR did. That is what is on trial- not his decision to be in Kenosha, trying to deter damage, on Night 3 of burning and rioting. Kenosha was being burned and vandalized with no help from the Governor or anyone else.

I get why he was there- wouldn't advise my own family to do what he did. But that's not why he is on trial. He is on trial for ultimately defending himself against the violent thugs who were participating in a third night of mayhem and violence. The case is ridiculously weak- that's why the head prosecutor threw it over to this moron, Binger. If he's convicted because the jury is too afraid to do the right thing, he will have grounds galore to appeal.

Unless they actually express this to each other or someone else, how would we know that’s the case?

Verdict timing:

New topic, but - if it comes out today, does anyone think it would be wise to delay announcing the verdict until Monday morning?

There are tons of people outside the court house already - but I am sure most of them will be busy working come Monday morning, so there will less chance of more riots then.

I imagine that most of those people outside of the courthouse are not gainfully employed. Their schedules are probably wide open on Monday as well.

This entire post is tailor made for Bad Legal Takes.

To increase the potential for violence over the weekend? Not to mention that it probably violates a bunch of Rittenhouse's constitutional rights.

Oh, how cute. Yes - a man with a lengthy criminal record. Someone that everyone strives to emulate.

So we now know there was a domestic abuser, a pedophile, a drunk driver with domestic abuse charges, and another domestic abuser with a lengthy rap sheet including felony convictions for car theft, drug possession, ID theft, and escaping custody who all attacked Rittenhouse.

What’s that saying again? Oh yeah - “If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole.”

The logic being that if you are attacked by a parade of miscreants, then you must be the problem? I don't know about that.

Haha or maybe you’re just at a left wing riot… oh I mean “mostly peaceful protest”.

I place the tragic victims of Rittenhouse’s violent crusade up there with the brave souls who stormed Iwo Jima and Normandy. Both were heroes fighting fascism.
