It may come as a surprise to you, but suburban women also have daughters. The fact that those daughters may be assaulted and then not believed and their allegations not fully investigated cannot be something about which they are happy.

Yes, and sometimes suburban women also have sons and daughters. My hunch is that the Democrats’ lead with married suburban women will decrease somewhat. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by fully investigated. Was there something keeping individuals who had relevant information from contacting Senators or the Judiciary Committee?

Your hunch would be wrong. We have had enough. You probably think "creaming elevator protester" is an insult but it is a compliment.

lol. screaming elevator protester.

I am thinking that if you were up for a big job promotion, and you had been accused of something potentially disqualifying (let’s say it’s an EEO complaint), I am betting that you would hope your employers would start with a presumptions of innocence before they write you off. Or, would you prefer that they automatically disqualify you based on a complaint with no evidence?

Forget the Ford allegations or the disgusting yearbook entries and the evidence that at the very least, Kavanaugh was a drunk a-hole in college. He is a political operative, a man who spent much of his career as a political hack, and who was selected because he is in favor of the executive branch protections Trump will need (or want) if he is impeached. That is why he was nominated. Period.

And then there's his ranting at the hearings and his threats to half the country of retribution and droning on about conspiracy theories. He doesn't belong on the SCOTUS. He is not worthy. As a tax payer and citizen, I'm appalled. And most Americans agree with me.

But November is coming.

Say what? Details, please. I missed the threats.

It was an effort to stop at all costs any Trump nominee that would tilt the court to the right for some time to come. They tried to do that by creating chaos and distractions to force Trump to abandon BK and have this drag out beyond the midterms. And once again, we learn that the party of tolerance and acceptance only tolerates and accepts those who agree with them, and that the party of women is anything but. They didn’t care about Dr. Ford and used, abused, and betrayed her to advance a political agenda. Such despicable, morally devoid people.

What a joke.

Don the Con cannot stop lying to save his life. Bart was NOT proven innocent.

There has never been a more divisive "President" in my lifetime. He is a disgrace and is delusional. As are you.

You are right that he was not proven innocent. Defendants are found innocent or proven guilty. This, of course, was not a criminal trial, so Trump was wrong. But Senator Collins’ “more likely than not” standard was not met. That’s a pretty low bar. When a decision maker finds both witnesses credible, to some extent, he or she must look to other factors, such as corroboration. There was no contemporary corroboration. Furthermore, Rachel Mitchell described evidentiary shortcomings in the accused’s account. A rational decision maker would be reasonably entitled to find as Collins did. Surely someone other than Manchin on the Democrats’ side knows this.

I actually have no idea what you are talking about. I didn’t say the Democrats won’t win he House. They will, because voters want a check on Trump. The Senate is another story, although I would not count Heitkamp out.

Suburban mothers may have daughters but they will never have sons in law.

No, you didn’t. Liar - it must be said, as it’s all that you are.

A sobbing, sniffling and shouting Supreme Court nominee saying, “reap the whirlwind” and “what goes around comes around” is clearly, definitively, making threats against thr party he’s already identified and wanted against as his enemies — Democrats.

Grow up. You repeat post this shit but it’s all lies.

Statistically, it’s much more likely that those suburban mom’s sons will be sexually assaulted than falsely accused of rape or assault. So that’s enough, really.

The rights of the accused must always be honored. Trust me, it’s very good that one party fully believes in due process and the presumption of innocence. It would be even better, though, if most Democrats did. This was a very ugly showing by that party. What has happened to them, one wonders. Some probably know better.

You’re hip-deep in your crock.

The party affiliation of those who most deeply believe in appellate rights for those accused of transgressions and crimes are Democrats. Your repugnant Tepublican representative, Trump, openly told police officers to deliberately smash heads of accused, arrested suspects to police officers at a televised event on Long Island.

Try again, liar.

I can’t fully follow your rant (appellate rights?), but my view is that, Trump excluded, today’s GOP is just better on First Amendment and due process issues. And by the way, Justice Scalia was a strong proponent of criminal defendants’ rights.

They tried. The GOP was not interested in finding out what kind of a criminal they’d nominated. https://mobile.twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/1048411501072195585

The Democrats did not abuse her. The Intercept reporters affirmed the revelation of her claim wasn’t by Feinstein or her staff.

Since you’re clearly also responsible for the bullshit post immediately above this one - you have no ability to reason or argue. My posts aren’t rants, and it shocks me that you think it’s funny to call this woman “used,” after she pressed a sex assault claim that has her harassed to a degree that she can’t live in her house. At some point, a decent person - even a true-red Republican - would have a conscience and a minimal sensitivity to avoid this kind actually and deeply hateful post. .

You mean the little right wing lie you’re believing still? The source that broke her name said it wasn’t from Feinstein or her staff.
