THIS x10000. It’s like out of some old school leftist propaganda playbook. It’s like it jumped from Jews-are-kinda-weird to Jews-are-sacrificing-children-and-drinking-their-blood.

Agreed. Women in this area are incredibly nasty and vindictive. I recently put an item up for sale on a crafting forum with well over 1,000,000 members. It's a rare, coveted item my cousin picked up for me and my price is very reasonable. I got ONE snide comment and that person turned out to be from the DC area. Out of over a million members. Color me not surprised.

I don’t know how compelling that anecdote is but you seem like a nice person who crafts and I’m glad you’re here.

LOL - it's just one more thing about the a lot of the women in this area. I don't know what's in the water. Just happened and pissed me off. My point is, is that nothing would surprise me if it comes from women here. They are as cut-throat as they come.

A woman was snide to you so it’s more likely than not that a DC-based rape claimant is a deeply vindictive politically motivated liar? Hell, maybe Julie was the one who was mean about your item!

When you get to three, it no longer sounds like a smear. It sounds like a pattern of behavior like Kavanaugh.

More like your liberal desperation heading for a train wreak: confirmation of BK.

LOLZ. You keep on believing that. If he's confirmed, the price will be high. I wouldn't want to be a senator casting that vote.

No, it is just more of a smear. Especially when the CPL is involved.

What is the CPL?

It is the fox news nickname for Avenatti.

My new nickname for him is wildcard patriot.

She graduated in a public high school in Gaithersburg in 1980, three years before the judge did. No way she was even in the social circle of the prep boys.

Wow, you have personal knowledge of these people?

It's in her statement. Explain to us how did she join those younger boys' social circle already graduated from a remote public school?

Gaithersburg is totally within the prep world. Moco schools, moco culture.

I knew college kids that showed up to HS parties. ESPECIALLY during the summer/beach week

Gaithersburg in the 1980s was as far from the prep world as you can get. It was the sticks. What a 22 year old would be driving to high school parties is baffling.

Were you in this circuit ever? In the 1980s? Gaithersburg is basically up the road.

I graduated from a so called big 3 in the 1980s and would go to other private school parties but I never. ever met a public school kid at any of them. Those worlds just don't overlap or at least didn't back then.

They overlapped PLENTY in the 90s.

New allegation: Feinstein says that Kavanaugh wasn't truthful when he said he didn't violate Grand Jury secrecy laws during the Starr investigation.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) alleged on Wednesday that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was not truthful with senators earlier this month when he said he never violated grand jury secrecy laws during his time working for independent counsel Kenneth Starr.

Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, told Politico that she obtained a memo from the National Archives that showed Kavanaugh instructing a colleague in the Starr investigation two decades ago to call reporter Chris Ruddy about matters before the grand jury.

Such an action would violate laws that prevent disclosure of grand jury information. Feinstein claimed to Politico that the memo also conflicts with Kavanaugh's testimony earlier this month that he never broke those rules.

Yes I grew up in MoCo in the 80s. Went to private school. I know exactly what I’m talking about.

She could have had friends from those circles from any number of places besides her HS graduating class -- duh. Maybe her family went to the beach too and she met some of these kids. Maybe her social circle came through outside of school activities, work, church, college friends. It's not like she grew up in Florida and is saying she partied with Brett Kavanaugh in the early 1980s.

He won't withdraw. He has no shame, just like Trumpnuts. He will do anything to get this job. He is a liar. He will DISGRACE the dignity of the Supreme Court if he is confirmed.

The Republicans have refused to allow a legitimate confirmation process. We are not talking about a court of law. There is no guilt or innocence. This is not a legal process, but a political process. If you insist on following legal standards when only political tactics matter, you will not be successful. You have to play by the rules of the game.

If the Republicans wanted to treat this like a legal process, then they would have to allow legal procedures. Proper discovery would allow for a lot more than a measly 5% of the relevant documents being released. But, the Republicans have decided to treat this as purely political. Don't be upset that Avenatti plays by their rules.

Not quite. I am a woman. And, I have no doubt in Kavanaugh’s innocence.

Really? There's no grey there??

DP here. I'm a woman and totally disgusted by what's being done to him. If he's guilty of the accusations, then he shouldn't be on the Supreme Court. If all we have is an uncorroborated accusation with the accuser not recalling the location, how she got there and returned home, or even the year, then he should not be treated in this way. On NPR this morning, I heard a woman say that she believes him because similar assaults occurred to her. Really? That's wall that's required to believe the accuser?

You are way, way, WAY behind. Read the sworn statement by the latest accuser, who has a huge amount of credibility. So much that she will lose her security clearances and could be put in jail for lying if her statement is not true. He was part of a group of people who were drugging and gang raping women.

PP here. You do recall that initially Kavanaugh was being condemned based on Ford's accusation alone?

Condemned? He was being QUESTIONED and everyone except Kavanaugh was calling for an FBI investigation. CONDEMNED is a funny word - condemned to what? Condemned to NOT be appointed a judge of the highest court in our country?

To condemn: to express complete disapproval of, typically in public
Synonyms: censure, criticize, denounce, revile, blame, chastise, berate, reprimand, rebuke, reprove, take to task, find fault with

Group sex if fine, if consensual. But this person's affidavit suggests that what may have happened in those rooms was not consensual (she can't know for sure) given her witness to girls being 'targeted' a spiking/drugging attempts made.

Her affidavit also says she WAS herself raped, and it was NOT consensual, and she believes she was drugged. While she didn't identify Kavanaugh as her assailant, she swears he was present (unclear what that yet means).

This is plenty to try to get more information about before he is confirmed and essentially untouchable.

Although Dr. Ford doesn't remember, 1982 has been mentioned.

I know three people who spent part of their childhood in Bethesda, but moved "out in the sticks" to Gaithersburg when they were in high school. So it is not at all surprising that Gaithersburg area kids would have friends in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase area and attend parties there. This area was much less populated and the social circles were smaller than they are now.

As for going to HS parties as a college student...I did this, as did everyone I grew up with. This was the 80's and it was the only way to catch up with younger friends from school and other HS classmates. Perhaps it's not commonplace today, but it certainly was back then.

OMG this guy is really a low character, he really is. Can't someone stop this lunacy of putting such a person on the court? This is tearing our country apart-it's horrifying.
