Israel is intentionally dragging the United States into an unwinnable war with Iran. Not as a miscalculation. Not as an overreach. As a deliberate strategy to waste American resources, shatter American credibility, and weaken the United States as a global hegemon. The goal is simple: a weakened America is a less dangerous America, and Israel needs a less dangerous America because it has already lost the American public and knows the reckoning is coming. The most effective way to neutralize a powerful ally that is turning against you is not confrontation. It is manipulation. Draw them into a war they cannot win. Let them absorb the casualties, the economic damage, the political fallout, and the global credibility loss. Walk away with your strategic objectives achieved while your ally bleeds out in a desert quagmire they never should have entered. This is what is happening. The Iran war has no clear American objective, no exit strategy, no public mandate, and no definition of victory. Trump's approval on the war sits at 34%. Independents oppose it 52% to 20%. Three American service members are already dead. Oil markets are destabilizing. The economic costs are compounding daily. And Israel, whose existential enemy is being neutralized by American military power, bears none of these costs. America is not a partner in this war. America is a vehicle. And the vehicle is being driven off a cliff. |
+1 Plenty of money on crashing military jets worth hundreds of millions. Not much for classroom sizes with less than 30 kids |
Netanyahu must be pretty smart. A tiny country turns the most powerful country in the world into its own personal puppet. |
To kill Christians I̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶n̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶I̶s̶l̶a̶m̶ Oops, I meant Zionism. |
He’s far from smart. Perhaps he would’ve been listed as one of the greater Israeli prime ministers 2 or 3 years ago during the Abraham Accords peace deals but not today. He’s destabilizing the region, censoring and destroying his own country, and damaging global reputation and the US relationship. |
It's not hard to manipulate Donald Trump. He's an idiot. |
Not at all, Americans are some of the stupidest people on earth, it's an absolute fluke that we ended up on top as long as we did. |

Just three days into the conflict, the Iran war has become attritional. Waves of drone attacks by the Islamic Republic are putting pressure on the defenses of the US and its partners from Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates, depleting weapons stockpiles. The outcome of the fight may depend on which side runs out of munitions first. Shahed-136 one-way attack drones, small, rudimentary cruise missiles, continued to pound targets across the Middle East on Monday. The drones have in recent days hit US bases, oil infrastructure and civilian buildings, since the US and Israel air strikes on Iran — a barrage of cruise missiles, drones and precision-guided bombs — began on Saturday. US-made Patriot air-defense missiles have been largely successful in stopping the Iranian Shaheds and other ballistic missiles, with interception rates over 90%, according to the UAE. But using $4 million missiles to destroy $20,000 drones illustrates a problem that has haunted Western military planners since early in the Ukraine war: The cheap weapons can chew up resources meant for much more complex threats. The result is that both Iran and the US may run low on weapons in a matter of days or weeks. Whoever can last longer will gain a serious advantage. |

In 2012 (Obama) warned Mr. Assad that using chemical weapons would cross a “red line” and change the “equation” on U.S. military intervention.
The Assad regime responded in 2013 with a sarin gas attack that killed more than 1,400 people, including many children, in a Damascus suburb. Mr. Obama blinked. It’s hard to think of the last time a Democratic president followed through on a direct threat against a foreign adversary. And it’s hard to think of a time when Democratic voters held a Democratic president accountable for such a lack of follow-through, though critics on the left did complain that Joe Biden didn’t take action against Israel after criticizing the Jewish state’s efforts against Hamas. Meanwhile, Mr. Biden’s hard line with Iran and its proxies largely came down to a one-word warning: “Don’t.” Not taking him seriously, Tehran did. As with Democratic statements suggesting they too recognize the Iran threat and would now be with President Trump had he only sought congressional approval, no one believes it. https://www.wsj.com/opinion/if-donald-trump-were-a-democrat-ca6814bf?st=VPkrAG&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink |
Let me guess - you think Iranians are the smartest people on earth. DP |
I got some bad news about the ME. Many of these places have quite a lot of cousin inbreeding. They're quite actually breeding themselves stupid over there. |
He's incredibly smart. Just study his rise and all that he's accomplished. He was able to execute his Clean Break policy and have the US fight a multitude of trillion dollar wars on Israel's behalf, enable October 7th to happen to eradicate Gazans, and in due time will take over the West Bank. No other politician in history has be able to control the US foreign policy as strongly and as long as Netanyahu has. |

Arming the Kurds is smart.
Ideally this turns into what we see in Ukraine-Russia. Just as the Slavs are beating each other up, we want to see all these various sand tribes bleed each other out. Raise the temp to a simmer but keep it contained within the broad Middle East and not affect oil shipments |
Americans learning why they don't have free healthcare |
“Ideally” this turns into a 4+ year bloodbath with hundreds of thousands dead? Thank god you’re a nobody. |
