Announcement coming tomorrow that REV bought DC United. Confirmed! |
Ah, the long awaited time has finally arrived. VRSC honoring its deceiving and false-ridden nature of spewing half-truths embedded with straight lies, decided to double down with the new carrot to dangle in front of unsuspecting parents. Ballsy. |
Right! Everyone is talking about how VRSC is blatantly lying that they will have mls next teams, when in reality their teams will be playing in NAL/MLS Next II, which is a second tier B league. So slimy, dishonest, and misleading. |
And just how do you know this is a lie? I would think that if they put DC United information in this they could face consequences if it wasn’t true. They do have legal that checks these things. Face haters the club is growing and doing things you don’t like. Loudoun isn’t the only game in town. |
Isn't LS doing the same thing by calling MLS NEXT II the second highest MLS league when there are only 2 tiers? Go post in your forum and chill. |
Right! Everyone is talking about how VRSC is blatantly lying that they will have mls next teams, when in reality their teams will be playing in NAL/MLS Next II, which is a second tier B league. So slimy, dishonest, and misleading. If you actually clicked the link and read the full press release it gives all the information and nothing is misleading. Once again the haters just want to try to say it is misleading. Also, like the previous posted said LS has the exact same teams and playing the same level but they also are promoting MLS Next the same way for their travel teams. |
Is this the forum that LS and other clubs come to attack the new kid on the block? |
The contrasting trajectory of the two clubs is remarkable. LS, to their credit, saw it coming and, to their shame, tried to discredit VRSC, but VRSC just keeps marching forward. |
Taking down FCV was impressive. They won’t take LS down in the same way (LS is too big to just disappear as FCV did), but VRSC is on a path to displace LS as the preferred destination for elite players in Loudoun County, with the girls program a few years ahead of the boys program. |
What I find interesting is everyone talks about VRSC taking down other clubs but no one if forcing players to leave these other clubs. Everyone has the freedom to go where they want to go. Obviously VRSC is offering what players want and therefore the club is growing. IF they get there and don’t like it they can move on to somewhere else but enough of players are staying to make them a club worth watching. So you can continue to come here and bash VRSC all you want but they have proven themselves as a formidable adversary. If you went there and something did go your way sorry but it obviously is working for a whole lot of other people. |
The fact that VRSC attracts this much attention is a sign they are doing something right and are at least perceived as a threat. Otherwise no one would care enough to post about them. We barely see posts about clubs like VYS or Alexandria because they aren’t seen as threats. |
The impact will be defined on the field. Now that these clubs are in the same league, game on. |
LS dodged the old FCV for years, now they can’t do the same with VRSC. It’s put up or shut up time. |
A little competition and rivalry is good. It also expands female access to a higher level of competition. It’s what everyone should acknowledge and support and long overdue. |
Yep. It will be VRSCs top teams vs Loudouns second teams. Should be competitive. |
