We stared allergy meds early, but just zyrtec. We have a more powerful one (don't recall the name) for when/if asthma symptoms kick in. I have not started flonase because there is a risk of nosebleeds and other issues if used too often. If any post nasal drip, or cough starts will use it.

My kid is taking Zyrtec and Flonase. And still coughing, but that's usual for him, during allergy season, which is most of the year.

First death in NYC. She was 82 with an underlying health condition but the thing that makes me a little nervous about it is that it looks like she contracted it in the hospital? Am I reading that right?

To be clear I am generally nervous about it and I don’t think age and underlying health conditions means it’s no big deal if they die. The hospital thing just makes it a little worse.

I’m noticing on other forums that there seem to be more trolls. Just be careful about the information you see. I have been paying attention to folks like Helen Branswell, Anthony Fauci, Tom Friedan, Marc Lipsitch, Trevor Bedford, and Caitlin Rivers. Most of them have Twitter feeds, and they have a lot of helpful information.

I’m practicing a lot of social distancing but still going on walks. Six feet away from people, no touching, changing clothes and washing hands when I return. Trying to balance staying sane with staying healthy. I’m also on an immunosuppressant, FYI.
