Yes and no. Terrible, yes, but that whole movie was a damn train wreck. The only reason my sister and I stayed is because one of our teachers was on a date a few rows in front of us and we wanted to see how THAT would end.

Ok, I love Forrest Gump too. But it was a really good 1994 movie. Shawshank and Pulp Fiction could be made today and would still be amazing.

I LOVE that movie but hate Andie’s character and performance. Awful miscasting. I do love how unattractive they had to make Kristen Scott Thomas so that audiences wouldn’t ship her and Hugh Grant more.

Similarly, Bill Pullman in While You Were Sleeping. There’s no way Sandra Bullock’s character would have found him remotely attractive. He was an a$$ to her.

I agree about Andie- she was just awful! However, I loved Bill Pullman in While You Were Sleeping. I thought he was so cute and totally believable.

While You Were Sleeping is so cute, and I love Bill Pullman in it.

I don’t care about the Oscar mess - I also enjoy Shakespeare in Love. That guy’s eyelashes are to die for. And I thought Gwyneth was decent.

Keep in mind that Bend It Like Beckham was basically our first intro to Keira. I thought she was ok in that role. She played the tomboy fine. I think her build is similar to a couple of our women’s players

Edward Norton as Will Graham in “Red Dragon”. He was way too young looking to play a retired FBI agent. I like Edward Norton but he mailed in that performance. And Ralph Fiennes was completely unbelievable as the Tooth Fairy. The whole movie is a huge disappointment and doesn’t hold a candle to Michael Mann’s masterpiece “Manhunter”.

Funny...I always thought Kate Winslet, though lovely, looked too old for this part. His character was meant to be young and boyish.

Agreed. I liked both Kate and Leo in Titanic, but there were scenes where I thought she looked old enough to be his mother.
