17 is really really not great. As the parent of a 17yo girl, she looks like an adult but does not make decisions like an adult. She is highly susceptible to influence and is still taking in a lot of information about pretty much everything. The thought of a powerful grown man taking advantage of a 17yo's lack of experience and trust for sex is despicable.

I am the PP, and certainly the GOP is full of hypocrites. Though actually I don't think Gaetz has been a hypocrite on this particular sort of issue, to the best of my knowledge.

And furthermore, since sex work is NOT decriminalized, it is avenue for criminal exploitation, organized crime, and human misery. It’s not innocent fun, even if the girls were adults. Scum.
