Yes DD can still try out. Figure out who the age-group coach is (look on ASA website) and contact them to see if DD can join a practice session. Also my guess is that there will be more ID sessions even if Arlington sticks with GA instead of ECNL. If Arlington gets ECNL there will definitely be more ID sessions.

What age group is your DD?

2005

They've already had one ID session and called back a few girls to join a practice. 2005 has a small roster (14 + 2 goalies), so you should definitely reach out.

Can you give a guess as to what the difference is between travel for ECNL/GA? We're not opposed to far travel just trying to get an understanding.

So, it's official: Arlington Girls got ECNL!

To all the naysayers, stop assuming you know everything. You were wrong. Very wrong. And, often, just plain mean. Remember that these are kids. Congrats to Arlington! We've been in ECNL for a while and we welcome you.

FCV are ranked so highly because they are playing against low level competition? Richmond deserve credit

I’d add Arlington, it shows there more than twice

Now all the McLean girls can switch to Arlington and not be on a team with 24 other girls!

Yes, I hate those large McLean teams. Arlington does it right. So happy for them! Small teams, great league, local competition.

Go ahead, FCV. Make your mean comments. You were not let in because of your team's culture and attitude. Everyone knows that FCV begged for a spot. Congratulations, Arlington! We welcome you!

More wins for us! Our teams will go undefeated and be ranked higher as usual. Good luck losing to Loudoun.
