I have a lot of family in the Midwest and it’s just not so black and white.

I also despise Marc Elrich.

I'm a democrat but very center. My H is a Republican, classic conservative, not alt-right... hates Trump.. never voted for him, never would. The extreme right has ruined the republican party and left many without a party. Hate is what the alt-right are getting from classic republicans. I don't really think you have enough republican friends to understand this. I don't think you understand the difference between a republican and what Trump is.

Elrich is a disaster, but Ficker, really, best know for being banned from Wizards games for being so abusive and disruptive.

Uh no, many Dems are moving to the Republican party for voting purposes. Republican party welcomes all, Jewish people, police, blue collar workers, even black males are flying
signs at the busy intersection in my town (population 70,000) to vote republican.

We hate your guts, OP. Trump threw being "politically correct" out the window so it's now okay to let you know. You are contemptible.

She had to change the subject because the R put forth Ficker and it's a whole sale embarrassment... she won't even address it.

My family from Texas didn't even vote for Trump. Hillary got 40% of the vote in TEXAS,.. that has them running scared.

If any of these inner city acts came to our neighborhoods white women would be the first one asking for the cops to come help out and would no longer call the protests "peaceful". But we all have NIMBYISM and putting a sign in the front yard of our 2 million dollar house means we care. Being open minded means you go along with the crowd and yell down anyone else's opinion. I only hope the silent majority pulls through yet again this November and squashes this for 4 more years.

That’s the problem with you idiots. You want to keep believing nonsense that none of us believe because it suits your hateful narrative. No sane person wants to do away with police or hates police. We do however want accountability for corrupt police officers and systematic racism. But keep thinking that our morals are just virtue signaling. You don’t don’t any better because you don’t have morals.

+1 million. Trump is an outlier. He called those who served in the military losers and suckers, how can you support that?

It's fake news.

Hahaha nope. Get educated on how journalism works. Not to mention it's TOTALLY in character for him to say that.

He already said it out loud, on camera -- that John McCain was no war hero because he was caught, and Trump thought that meant he wasn't worthy of respect. HE SAID IT. WE ALL HEARD IT. Not fake news.

Jew here. Only ultra conservative orthodox Jews will vote for Trump the rest of us are not that dumb. We know he and his NAZI crew of proud boys, patriot boys, etc are not our fans. It's not like Trump denounced the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter or ever supports Jews. His Israel stance is a money grab for anyone who does not understand Trump that is all. Follow the money. Stop supporting the propaganda machine and Jews will not be the only ones they come for.

The dems have taught me the important of lying. Postmodern thought is out of control. Trump may be a populist but the modern Democratic Party has lost its classic liberal views. I’ll take a populist over a party that doesn’t support science, silences dissenting views, and using the word racist as a weapon to get what they want. I no longer allow myself to drink with these “liberals”-it’s too dangerous.

Don't worry about them. They're probably happy to be rid of you.

Lol they still drink. We go to a patio, and I nod while they tell me about their view of the world. I say supportive comments and barely touch my drink. It allows me to better form arguments against their position. I learn how they they’ve been hypnotized into their world view.

What are you talking about???

Trump lies daily more than once a day??

Reason not to vote for Trump more than any other 186,000 dead Americans and counting. He had instructions, who does't at least try during a public health issue to use instructions?????

Trump is destroying us vote for him and you are a complete idiot to fall for his propaganda. Yes, I said that.

Got to love this thread. Started by a Trumper copy and pasted by a Trumper zero original thought. Supporting QANON and a daily liar who is literally stealing monies from taxpayers. And now has taxpayers paying for his defense against a rape charge??????

LOL what they do best -- accuse the left of being just like them. Sorry we're too smart for that one by now.

The ones that really detest Trump are republicans.

The left has different problems then the right. The left concerns me because it’s winning the culture war. I don’t think Trump has that much power. He can’t fire tons of people in the way the liberal mob can.

I think the left is overly cynical. It doesn’t see nuance. It has a perfect answer for everything. It won’t support scientific studies if it doesn’t already agree with them.

I assume my friends who’ve been hypnotized by this movement will eventually change their minds. Just lime my other friends who sometimes would dip into anti-vaccine thoughts. I think democratic led cities have already caught the measles. There has to be some level of order.

Post modern thinkers have thrown the baby out with the bath water. Classical liberalism tolerates dissenting views. It gives power to the individual. It isn’t so damn cynical.

Are you using “populist” to mean white nationalist?
