I no longer allow myself to drink with these “liberals”-it’s too dangerous.

Are you using “populist” to mean white nationalist?

No, I think that argument weakens your position in the long runs. It’s a red herring. This matters because populism isn’t going away even if Biden wins the election. I don’t think elites in this area grasp that lots of people think Rittenhouse is a hero. We don’t want to encourage vigilantism. I think the liberal mob has overplayed their cards by trying to control language and labeling everyone who disagrees with their position as a racist.

I think classical conservatism and classical liberalism are much more beneficial to society then populism and postmodernism. I feel like emotions are guiding decision making.

I would encourage liberals to remember classic liberal principles of openness and tolerance. Those would be most useful to growth, prosperity and equality then critical theories that encourage cynicism and division.

So you think if Biden wins white nationalism is going away.

I think you hang out with too many white elite liberals and need to widen your friendship group.

No, but it might stop being socially acceptable. Face it, Trump supporters. Deep down, you prefer white people to remain the powerful majority. You are relieved that he agrees.

+1, I and several other households on our street in Kensington will be voting right along with you. There’s nothing special or noteworthy about where I live, so I have every reason to think that other streets in my neighborhood and every other neighborhood like it are the same.

We just don’t put out yard signs, because unhinged lunatic liberals in the neighborhood would vandalize our homes and cars. But that’s what we expect from them. Look no future than some of the posts in this very thread.

I have to say I’m uncomfortable with the extreme liberalism in our county. ‘Hate has no home here’ but everyone hates republicans. It’s contributing to the incredible divisiveness in our country. I have a lot of family in the Midwest and it’s just not so black and white.

I also despise Marc Elrich.

I'm a democrat but very center. My H is a Republican, classic conservative, not alt-right... hates Trump.. never voted for him, never would. The extreme right has ruined the republican party and left many without a party. Hate is what the alt-right are getting from classic republicans. I don't really think you have enough republican friends to understand this. I don't think you understand the difference between a republican and what Trump is.

Elrich is a disaster, but Ficker, really, best know for being banned from Wizards games for being so abusive and disruptive.

Uh no, many Dems are moving to the Republican party for voting purposes. Republican party welcomes all, Jewish people, police, blue collar workers, even black males are flying
signs at the busy intersection in my town (population 70,000) to vote republican.

No, they aren’t. Your main man Trump, when asked to condemn white nationalists, instead says there are good people on both sides... and that means Jewish people and minorities are welcome? This Jew is not going to side with the party that supports this sort of thing. The ones who do, are naive at best.

This. This. This.

I'm tired of being called racist just because I am white. We employ people of all colors in our business with top wages.

You people hold the guns and encourage your children to murder, even praise murderers as heroes. You believe unhinges QAnon conspiracies. And we’re the ones who are unhinged?

Really, got to love Trumper's.

He owes taxpayers millions, police departments millions and now he's using taxpayer funds to defend himself in a rape case?? Ladies really? You are voting for that?

Public health crisis and he "wings it" . 186,000 dead and climbing.

Scams so many too many to count.

Campaign promises zero kept.

No what you really mean is you are single issue voters who do not have brains to think more than that.

When he is reelected you will be super happy to realize, women no longer have the right to vote (yeah that's actually on the table), QANON greater foothold, social security in Trump's pocket, you keep drinking that koolaid. The rest of us will be fine, Trumper's on the other hand more likely to be homeless and jobless.

What a kind hearted, open minded individual you are, allowing non whites to work for you.

The white nationalists thing is a red herring. Even the FBI thinks the numbers are extremely small. I'm guessing there are probably several hundred in the US.

Prominent legal attorney in Towson (Jewish). "No one really likes Trump but there will be a lot of closet Republican voters this year."

The Dem party is divisive and full of hate.
