If you knew anything about Goya products you would know they are the most expensive option on the shelves.

Of course of course.

And Hispanics buy them because they (we) are truly dumb.

Or perhaps the dumbest PP around is...

If you are Hispanic and support trump you have to be very smart! He does not want your kind in this country. He was trying to sell Puerto Rico a few month back. Yep sell it. One of the reason he stated was these Puerto Ricans are moving to Florida. We can not have all these illegals voting in Florida. Wonder how selling Puerto Rico would work out for Goya?

PP is right though, at least for beans. I bought a can of Goya beans this morning. It was ten to twenty cents more expensive than the other beans for sale. There's plenty of reasons why a person might reasonably prefer a more expensive can of beans (I buy Goya sometimes after all), but it's still more expensive.

We shop at local bodegas where Goya is cheap.

I think some posters must be in the “International food section” of a pricey market like Whole Foods or Harris Teeter.

Trump doesn't like Puerto Ricans. He may have said that in jest, but he does not like Puerto Ricans.

Goya CEO is of Spanish descent, as in European. When Trump talks about "they are sending over rapists and murderers", he is not referring to Spain.

Nope. Thinking of the Giant, where they're, if memory serves, 89 cents a can as compared to store brand which is 69 cents. That's been true wherever, I've shopped though. Whatever you might think, they're name brand beans. They're still pretty cheap, because they're beans, but they're name brand.

What do you think Robert Unanue did? Bet there are some major indictments coming down the pike and he is kissing up to Trump for a pardon.

Safeway Goya beans are like $1.29 vs Bush $.71 but Bush will go on sale for 2 for $1.

Can you prove it is fake? No. So it is true. Trump has never apologized or denied it.

Way to smear a Hispanic business leader.

Have you shared that sentiment with Hollywood?

As Unanue’s comments, so disconnected from the reality of so many Latinos in America, sparked an outcry, the question really is why the head of one of the richest Spanish-American families would be willing to risk his company’s future by siding with this president, of all presidents. After all, Trump began his campaign in 2015 with racist comments about Latino immigrants: "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best," he said. "They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists." And, less well reported, he added: "It’s coming from more than Mexico. It’s coming from all over South and Latin America."

That's basically the heritage of Goya's entire customer base..

...But now for many consumers, "Si es Goya" no longer ends with "tiene que ser bueno." Instead, "Si es Goya" ends with an aversion to defending our community in front of a president who repeatedly insults us. On that, Unanue and Goya delivered.
