You are putting him in too positive a light. |
So, yes, they are in a death cult. |
Trump supporters -and many republicans are no longer trump supporters- are fine with anyone else dying as long as its not them. Once they get it then they are just as scared and alone as anyone else but its too late.
I do think there is a strange mental break in many Trump supporters minds. The people at the rallies think they won't get it. |
We need to teach children that there is strength in changing your mind and admitting you were wrong or misinformed.
We need to teach children to evaluate sources of information, so that they are not so easily lied to. We cannot continue to produce citizens who are so easily manipulated. |
It's really too bad we couldn't have tried harder to contain the virus in NYC before it spread to the rest of the United States. What could we have done? |
Testing and contact tracing. Not allowed rich New Yorkers to flee the state before the lockdown. |
So please tell me how that would have stopped the virus from infecting people on the west coast as early as January 19? There was community spread long before NYC. |
We should have ignored your orange idol and worn masks as soon as we knew they were effective. |
Testing, contact tracing, more targeted lockdowns, consistent messaging about masks being good and the need for all of us to take measures to protect everyone, and - probably most importantly - more checks to individuals and businesses that would let/convince them stay home to watch tv instead of going out to bars. Perhaps also not some lunatic telling people that they should LIBERATE their states and shoot up with bleach instead of treating a pandemic like a pandemic. |
Yes, and do you remember the footage of all those people crowded into US airports who had scrambled to return before they couldn't come back from abroad? I'm sure a lot of people had it coming in from their destination or contracted it on their journey home. That could have been handled so differently. |
