The FBI would have notified the WH Counsel of the reason that Porter would not receive a security clearance. It let’s not overlook the likelihood that he would have been privy to classified information while serving as COS for Hatch. |
Thank you for the above link to the Politico article (https://www.politico.com/amp/story/2018/02/07/john-kelly-porter-allegations-abuse-398168). According to Politico: "A senior administration official told POLITICO earlier Wednesday that Kelly and other top White House officials were aware of the allegations, including the 2010 protective order, weeks and in some cases months before they were made public. The allegations held up Porter’s application for a security clearance, the official said, adding that Porter had been working with an interim clearance. Both of his ex-wives reportedly told the FBI about their experiences with Porter. In recent weeks, an ex-girlfriend of Porter’s — who also works in the Trump administration — contacted White House counsel Don McGahn and voiced her distress after discovering evidence of a romantic relationship between Porter and White House communications director Hope Hicks, according to two administration officials. She also alleged that he had abused his two ex-wives." Is there any chance that White House Counsel Don McGahn did not immediately contact White House Communications Director Hope Hicks, if only for her personal security, when he first heard from Rob Porter's ex-girlfriend several weeks ago about, "her distress after discovering evidence of a romantic relationship between Porter and White House communications director Hope Hicks"? |
| I wonder if Donald secretly resents all these staffers of his having his little Hope. |
I think these guys are all beards for Trump. |
| So, was Porter beating his then-live-in girlfriend while working in the Trump WH? |
| Javanka has such terrific judgement. |
| WH: We were misled. Are you f*cking kidding me? |
None of these yutzes have any judgment whatsoever. |
Is that seriously their talking point now? |
Was the White House misled many months ago by the extensive FBI background check, the one that surely summarized interviews with both of his ex-wives detailing the domestic abuse? Or was the White House misled months ago when Rob Porter failed to obtain his security clearance? Or was the White House misled only in recent months when Rob Porter's ex-girlfriend, an unnamed White House staffer, contacted Don McGahn with concerns about a relationship better Porter and Hicks, and his previous wives' domestic violence claims? Or was the White House misled only about a week ago when this story began to bubble to the surface through media inquiries? |
It was misled when the photos were released. |
Disgusting. |
SHS took a personal day. |
Sounds like it. |
Is he a drinker? If so, nothing to worry about in terms of access to classified information. Just like Duncan Hunter. |
