He was Kelly's guy, and you’d have to assume Kelly chose to do nothing.

The irony here for Trump: fire Kelly for overlooking the same things Trump himself has done to his ex-wives?

Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

If so, it may have been through that relationship that Porter first came into the White House's orbit, and Mr. Kushner may very well have been aware of the previous "rumors" about his ex-wives. Also, both Hope Hicks and Sarah Huckabee Sanders adamantly defended, in drafting or making statements, Mr. Porter, until the last possible moment. This was done even though Hicks and Sanders were surely aware of the domestic violence allegations. John Kelly is not the only reprehensible White House actor in this particular saga.

Considering that two ex-wives and an ex-girlfriend have accused him of abuse I think it's safe to say there is a pattern here. It probably goes back to college. So yeah, it's doubtful that someone who has known him for two decades is unaware of his "tendencies."

The two ex-wives of Rob Porter, the White House aide who resigned today in the wake of domestic abuse allegations, revealed to DailyMail.com they were in contact with a third woman who is believed to be his longtime girlfriend.

The woman, is 34 and works for the federal government in Washington D.C.

DailyMail.com is declining to name her because she is an alleged victim of domestic abuse and she has not come forward. Repeated attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful.

Porter, 40, had been living with the willowy blonde political appointee, who split with him around Thanksgiving, after discovering suggestive text messages between Porter and White House communications director Hope Hicks, one of Trump's closest and most trusted advisors.

The “girlfriend” wrote to McGahnwho, as you’d expect at this point — did nothing.

What? White House Counsel Don McGahn previously knew about the domestic violence claims against White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter, and "did nothing"? Links to sources please?

Trump isn't going to fire Kelly, at least not for this.

Yeah, I don't think any of Trump's supporters are going to think any worse of him for not being a stellar advocate for women.

Trump said so himself he's not a feminist. Rather, he's an advocate for "all" people.

Waiting for the talking points from Moscow. Remember, it's an eight hour time difference.

Fox doesn't think it's newsworthy.

To me, the most convincing circumstantial evidence for the fact that many persons at the White House were aware of the domestic violence allegations against White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter -- but were willing to overlook them -- is the extremely low profile he was given, and kept, at the White House.

Contrast the relative importance of Mr. Porter's position to his relative obscurity in media mentions or attention before all of this blew up. We know of Hope Hicks, we know Raj Shah, we know Stephen Miller, we know Don McGahn, we know Sarah Sanders, not to mention John Kelly, Kellyanne Conway, Gary Cohn, and Omarosa Manigault (now starring on Celebrity Big Brother!). But who knew there was a guy named Rob Porter?

Yeah every time some scandal comes up, Fox finds something innocuous to cover. They were focusing on the shortage of homes for puppies when the private jet scandals broke.

John Kelly, friend to all women.
Rob Porter is a man of true integrity and honor, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is a friend, a confidante and a trusted professional,” Kelly told the paper. “I am proud to serve alongside him.”

Kelly issued the same statement again on Wednesday afternoon after Porter announced he would resign. By that time, the Daily Mail and the Intercept had published articles featuring interviews with Porter’s other ex-wife, Colbie Holderness, in which she alleges he physically abused her and punched her in the face. The articles included photographs of bruising around Holderness’ eye.

Kelly issued his after-hours statement at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday, hours after the photographs were published.

Or even contrast Rob Porter's visibility with that of White House Staff Secretaries in previous administrations like Raj De, Brett Kavanaugh, Harriet Miers, John Podesta, and David Gergen. Rob Porter was kept on the down low for a reason, because everyone knew of the domestic violence claims, but accepted his explanations and excuses, because he is one of them, and he is extremely loyal.

Multiple wives and domestic abuse ... where have I heard about this before?

Rob Porter wasn't even listed on easily Googled resources for White House staff.
