My theory is that McMaster and Kelly sent Miller out there to make an ass out of himself, nip this ill-thought-out immigration plan in the bud, and hopefully also get him shit-canned.

I put this here to show that Miller just looks like a jerk in the transcript. I didn't watch the video but I can't imagine he looks any better.

Actually, I watched the video, and every time Miller said, "Jim" in that really demanding tone of voice, I couldn't help but think of Bones from Star Trek yelling at Captain Kirk. Jim.. Jim...Jim...
